⇒ Case Number: N/A ⇒ Incident/s: Inciting Violence ⇒ Location: Scotland Yard, New London ⇒ Reporting Officer: Insp Terry Jeffords To IMG command,
We received a report of attempted assault towards an individual with permission to be within Bretonia. After questioning the individual we have reason to believe they were attempting to claim a bounty given by yourselves for the sum of 4 million Sirius credits.
Our evidence implicates your corporation to have been directly involved in the events leading up to the crime itself thus breaching 'the Bretonian charter of interstellar law' amendment 4.5 - Inciting Violence. In response to this you are required to send a representative to Scotland Yard, New London for questioning. Failure to do so may result in further action being taken against you.

Your silence is not going to help your case. Consider this message your final warning before the case is passed up the chain of command to The Detective Chief Inspector Steve Judge. Who has a reputation for severe punishments.
Just for your records you have been accused of breaking the following: 'the Bretonian charter of interstellar law' amendment 4.5 - Inciting Violence.
We expect to hear from you immediately.

Apologies on behalf of the Guild for the late reply. Our Operations Coordinator currently has his hands full handling some issues in the Omegas. Rest assured that this will be brought to his attention, and a representative assigned and sent to Scotland Yard as soon as possible.
In the meanwhile, if you could provide some information regarding this complaint, it would be most appreciated. We would like to be able to review this supposed breach as well, and prevent any further instances from occurring. Information such as the parties involved as well as the location of the incident would be most useful in preventing a repeat of this incident.
Furthermore, let me reassure you that there was never any intent to breach any Bretonian laws.
If we refer to the IMG Regulations B.2:
Independent Miners Guild Wrote:§2: In regions in which House Laws are to be applied:
a) House law trumps the IMG regulations.
b) IMG regulations can be regarded as guidelines to ensure good relations with the Guild.
Thank you for your kind understanding.

I wouldn't be as dramatic as to say they are targeting lawful vessels... but I'm no lawyer. I think the IMG is only interested in protecting their assets within Bretonia and there isn't exactly any love between them and the Outcasts. Like I said, there were at least alleged instances of Outcast marauders praying on trade shipments from the Taus.
They would only pay me to shoot them within Cambridge, Dublin and Newcastle, 4 mil a piece with a milion bonus for vessels belonging to the National Council.
As you can see clearly something does not match up with what you are telling me last time I checked Cambridge, Dublin and Newcastle all fell into Bretonian Territory.

Jack Henderson, IMG Operations Coordination. I am taking over this issue.
From what I see, you have the word of a suspect that seemingly was caught in an attack. From what I suspect, he or she then somehow tried to get out of the mess by implicating someone else, using the well-known "bigger fish to fry" strategy.
Consequently, I sadly have to say that without handing us the basic information about what happened and without identifying the source of the accusation levelled at the Guild, we cannot even run an internal investigation as to what could have happenened. I am sure you understand that, Inspector.
In case a visit seems necessary, I'll definitely make sure to find time to meet you and assist in clearing this up, however without the basic groundwork being covered first, we will be wasting a lot of valuable time on both sides and I am convinced you are as busy a man as I am.
Yours sincerely,
Jack Henderson

At this moment we are not willing to disclose information relating to the case. After speaking to my superiors we have decided to let this incident go with an informal warning as it is the first time that we have had this issue with your organisation. We do however insist that if you have been offering bounties within Bretonia that you inform anybody who may have seen such a memo that it is no longer viable.
I hope our next chat will be more pleasant.

It's good to see that this issue was solved so quickly. And this wasn't a unpleasant situation, Inspector. The Independent Miners Guild is glad that the BPA is doing a great job at maintaining law and order under difficult conditions. Your and your colleagues' work is appreciated, not only by myself, but by the Guild.
If you need help to fend off the Corsair incursions like today's in O3 and Cambridge, always call on IMG Security Wings. The pilots on duty are briefed to respond to these Corsair raids and assist local law enforcement. Stay safe and good luck, Inspector.
Yours sincerely,
Jack Henderson
