You might not remember, or not even know me, but i've heard plenty of good things about you in the past.
Back when the Augus Clan yet existed, and i was one of the most important parts of it; since Daimyo Augus disappearance, i have spent quite some time away from my Bretheren, away from Sendai, from everything. Now, that i have returned - as you probably already know, i have immediately started acting.
But i can not help but to inquire - does everything satisfy you in the current Daimyo and this successor Clan, Asai? Or is there some issues that do bother you, but you don't know who to share them with?

What do you know about my Daimyo? Hiro Asai? My interactions with him thus far have been anything but pleasant, but I shouldn't speak ill of him without fear of repercussions. The clan doesn't seem to have changed that drastically, apart from our Daimyo being significantly more forceful than the previous - and everyone being forced to append "Asai" to their last name. I think it is best I do not say anything. Sadly, I do not yet know you or any other, so my opinions must remain reserved and hidden away. I am currently on New Tokyo, and I'll be here for a little while longer I suspect.
For what it's worth, I don't really know much about the inner dealings of the Dragons, even now. I only know what I wrote up for one of my initial projects that got sent off to Heng. I don't know that many people of importance, and know the names of some of the clan leaders, but that is about it. I don't really even know how to think about the thought of people knowing my name - aside from those that have seen it on project files, I guess.

It is actually relieving to see your swift response, i honestly expected you to ignore a word from me.
However, i should assure you. Even through i have adorned myself in the colors of Hideyoshi Clan - my loyalty still belongs to Augus, and, from the little experience of contact with Hiro Asai i can pretty much conclude that this person is not worthy to be the successor of Clan me and Daimyo Augus have applied so much efforts to raise it from ashes.
He just put his hands on everything we achieved, instilled his own order, and got his mind afflicted with pride and false values, considering the latter harsh criticism he addressed towards my planning of Nagano operation.
Fortunately, his word means little to nothing against the word of Taii-Shogun.
At the very least, i strongly dislike even the single thought of this person laying his hands on everything we have achieved as Augus, and behaving the way he does now. However, before we make any conclusions or start carrying out any plans - would you, possibly, be able to provide me with better information about the state of affairs inside Asai Clan?
Do not be afraid. I have pledged my soul, my heart and mind to Augus in the past, and what i observe - disappoints me.
Perhaps, we should put an end to this.

You're welcome to try anything with him, but from what I've seen around, he is a very traditional man. He does not like his word challenged, and he acts like his ilk have for generations. It makes me have positive thoughts about the GC, which is never a good sign.
Asai is very hush hush as far as I'm concerned. He has been trying to restrict the flow of information. People work on their own projects and that's it. Back when the old leadership was in place, I was allowed to go and ask others for support if I needed (not that I ever did). These days, if you try that, you get reprimanded. I don't want any involvement with how things are progressing or how they will change. I want to stay and do my work, that's it. I've finished my latest project, so I am enjoying my time away on New Tokyo. This is why I try and keep my lives separate.
I will be honest with you, as you are pretty much the only person i can trust right now. I suggest you to maintain a low profile and delay your return to Sendai as long as you can.
Determined actions will be taken to end his unjust reign.
On a side note - you might happen to know other Brother's opinion on the current state of affairs? Every bit of information is valuable now.

I'll be here until my dealings with the Shogunate are completed. I have things to keep myself occupied here. Your words paint a very shady image on yourself, but it's not any concern of mine.
