1. Why did the faction (or you) choose the name "Echo Corps"?
2. What are the "selfish goals" of the Order, and why are they enough to keep you from engaging in a collaboration that could be very beneficial?
3. Why did the Echo Corps not collaborate with Bretonia and reveal their findings openly? (same question for the Order)
4. What do you mean by "preserving humanity's legacy", in addition to "preserving humanity"?
5. How does the faction sustain itself economically?
A few comments:
- The "you can't see my faction tag because it's oorp for my faction" thing isn't going to work. Most people you meet won't have read your request to ignore the tag, and many who did won't be happy about a demand for special treatment. If you really want people to not recognized you, you should go with the option to have some untagged ships in the faction, which won't be counted into the tracker.
- Not sure if the nomad lore has been retconned, but as far as I know it used to be so that the stuff in Iota was built after Trent and the SP campaign. Still, there were certainly nomads active somewhere in Sirius in places like Alpha and Gamma. The destruction of Sol is cannon and makes some sense, because it provides an explanation to why the Coalition didn't show up in Sirius with overwhelming force.

IIRC, in lore Sirius Coalition didnt received any messages or clues from Sol, and dont treat it as something existing. For us extended intro have sense, at least.
Hey guys, I have read your faction page and I am impressed by the amount of dedication you put into this, now to begin.
@Lythrilux makes some very good points, touching on Zoners to how you should use the Order ID but instead you hate the Order so that's out of question.
Some members here are making good points on how you can logically have 200 years of influence with no real RP to back that up aside from your faction into.
In all honesty I don't fully grasp your Idea to well... As someone like me with a lot of Order knowledge and Rping to saving Humanity from the Nomads it took me two years with my SRP to even start a faction. By no means am I saying to give up your hard work. I think you should do what @'Auzari" posted. Start from the ground up.
I don't mind Rping with your faction but any notions of 200 years worth of influence will be questioned hard in RP and I would indeed ask for such proof.
I dont think Zoners ID IFF would be a good look for you either.
Cheers.

As alot of the folk above have said, regardless of what it is you intend, you cannot think to go into the server with a Zoner ID and IFF and not be treated as if your Zoners. The fact is your asking people to accept that for 200 years your faction has somehow got eyes and ears in many places, and has only just now become noticeable. The Order can get away with it to an extent because its established Lore.
It actually feels a bit power gamey to me, after all you could easilly just turn around and say "oh well we have a guy whos involved with this base who over heard-" And use that as a reason to try and get invovled with things you otherwise wouldnt know about inrp.
Personally like what @"Auzari" said, you should of started trying to make up your network of secrets first rather then trying to establish that this faction already exists and it already has its small network of contacts etc etc.
And onto my original point about the ID and IFF, nothing of your write up match's being a Zoner, yeah sure Zoner's can mingle with both sides of the law and tend to be everywhere but the reason for it is because they don't get involved with other peoples business unless they have to, other then that they want to keep out of things. You will inevitably be looked upon as just another Zoner faction not being Zoners, thats a fact.
This Echo Corps are not Zoners, they are just another group outside of the Governing houses focused on the Nomads. You could easily be that with the Freelancer ID / IFF. Nothing other then where you supposedly get your information suggests your group are Zoners, and frankly they arnt.
While the Echo Project is still an interesting undertaking in our eye, a blend of established lore and reading between the lines provided by discovery, we recognize that the community is too closed off for it to ever truly work. As such we will not be continuing with the idea.
