I am not aware if you're informed Amiral, but since my arrival we've employed thousands of people making the unemployment rate drop by amazing 7%. It pleases me to see that people are eager to work and serve the King rather than steal and murder unlike some people. I, alongside my team, am working on expanding the company which will result in more jobs. More available jobs will result in crime rate going down and life standard going up.

At the moment, our company is working on two major projects together with our partners from EFL. Of course I am talking about the New London jump gate re-construction and Tau-23 trade lane construction.
Both of those projects are important and we're ready to help speed up the process as much as we can. Meaning, the IDF shall prioritize those two projects. Employees dedicated to this matter will be dispatched as well as the escort protecting the transports. That would be one of the things that I wanted to discuss with you Amiral Montaville.

The cargo required for the construction of both gates and lanes holds a great value. Valuable cargo is known for attracting hostile groups such as the Maquis and Brigands. While the Gallic Police is in charge of protecting Civilians in core space, our company also has it's Security Division. What I would like to request, Amiral, is a permission to use Taureau Assault Transports freely as well as permission for two Perilous Corvettes. The A. Transport's defense capabilities would drastically improve the safety of the cargo whilst Corvettes would improve our Security Division force. I am aware that the Navy is in a need of new assault vessels that's why the Corvettes don't have to be brand new, the damaged ones would do just fine as long as our engineers are able to fix them.

The second matter I wanted to discuss with you Amiral would be about the Corsair Empire. As we know, the Corsair Empire is at war against the Bretonia which makes them a rather valuable asset. I would like to hear your opinion on them Amiral. Surely the enemy of my enemy doesn't have to be my, or in this instance, our friend, but someone that is neither hostile nor allied to us. With your permission I would like to contact the Empire and perhaps work out a trade deal of sort. The Empire possesses goods that our people might be interested in buying and we might have something that might interest them.
If your answer is positive, we might open a trade route between our House and theirs and perhaps let them in our space, but that I all up to you Amiral Montaville.

Last but not least is a rather delicate matter - the war between Kusari and Rheinland. One of the major export goods go to Rheinland, Republic's corporations have goods to offer us which makes them valuable to our market. Kusari corporations are, just like Rheinland's, valuable to us and our market. Having this war makes things harder for us. I am not fully aware on what's King's opinion on the whole matter, so I would first ask you Amiral, what can we expect?

I'd introduce myself but you seem well documented enough, so I'll only indulge in moderate amounts of pleasantries before we dive in.

The emergence of a new directorate for Ile-de-France shipping has come as good news to me and several others in high places. There's a lot of attention directed at you, madame Pomeroy, and as such, a lot of expectation, too. Make good on your word and you will flourish like not many have over the course of history. Do not disappoint me.

Now, on to your points of attention.
Firstly, logistics support. We usually have channels reserved for these matters, but I'll let it fly for this once. I'm not opposed to leasing you the crafts you require, on principle. Regardless, I've attached commandant Nicodème Guillory to this transmission. He's in charge of managing my ships ; he can see about the details of your request. Know that he speaks under my authority and that his word carries as much weight as mine. He can be a little rough ; don't let that get to you.

Secondly, our good friends from the Corsairs. You make very good points in regards to their potential use and the benefits we can make by partnering with them. As it happens, diplomatic efforts have already been undertaken to create the possibilities you speak of. Embassies have been opened and agreements have been secured. You may establish a route to and fro Corsair territory at your leisure, though I'd contact them beforehand if I were you. Naturally, you have my permission to do so. They have shown to be agreeable partners and they should welcome any proposition you may have. Just don't contact them wearing these... Needlessly revealing clothes. They are nothing like the Parisian crowd you are accustomed to, madame Pomeroy, and I fear you'd be sending them the wrong message in so doing.

Finally, regarding this whole Rheinland-Kusari debacle... Our orders are clear ; keep the trade flowing at any cost. Building and maintaining all those Valeurs comes at great cost and any disruption on our economy has been deemed entirely unacceptable. You're free to associate with both nations at your leisure, with the full protection of the Roi backing you. If either of our trade partners gives you any trouble, remind them of who you are and who sent you. There will be no denying Gallic trade, certainly not now. We're preparing an operation just now to remind Kusari of the... Benefits of staying on our good side, and I don't expect the notoriously cash-strapped Rheinlanders will give you much trouble. They're both going to need money for their little territorial dispute and we'd be fools not to take advantage of it. So go right ahead and bring me what I need to build MORE VALEURS.

Three Months have passed since the last time we talked, three very long Months. I would like to congratulate you and your soldiers for an outstanding victory over Bretonians at Southampton and other systems the Roi has managed to be victorious.
Now the as I wouldn't want to take too much of your time, this message can be considered as a report so you can have insights in what we've done so far and what we're planning on doing in the upcoming days.

Alongside our sister company - EFL we've completed the construction of the New Londong Jump Gate in Leeds and Trade Lane rings in Tau-23. Our company worked very hard to achieve its goal, we hope that you're proud of our work, we know we are. Thanks to EFL, the Roi forces can safely enter the territory of New London as the Jump Gate works without any flaws whatsoever.

The second thing would be the newly established trade route between Gallia and The Corsair Empire. The negotiations began on 20th of Août by, in that time Officier and now Vice Directeur Général, Jeanne Lorraine who did an excellent job in closing the deal between us and the Corsairs. Our company offered food rations produced on Planet Orleans to both Custodi and The Brotherhood as an export commodity. As and import commodity we've requested Xeno Relics and Artifacts. People around Gallia are highly interested in such antiques hence why our company showed interest in the first place.

In order to make sure that the antiques we've requested were the thing that we were looking for, our two pilots who's ships were loaded with Food Rations, headed directly to Omicron Gamma, the capital system of The Corsair Empire. The two pilots flying Gallia's most expensive transports were Monsieur Bouvet and Mademoiselle Lorraine herself. The distance between Gallia and Omicron Gamma is not very close, our pilots had to travel through Kusari then Sigmas until they finally reached the Omicrons.

Both Custodians and the representatives of the Brotherhood were pleased by the cargo that our transports have delivered to their Planet - Crete. Once Mademoiselle Lorraine personally examined the antiques, she closed the deal between The Custodi, The Brotherhood and our company.

Once the right price is set for the Relics and Artifacts the Corsairs shall begin importing them to Sarcelles.

The next part would be the relation between Ille De France Shipping and Kusarian corporations.
Although the war between Kusari and Rheinland is nonsense, but we are where we stand. With the Emperor back in Kusari our company has kept a close eye on the situation in Kusari. Even though sceptical, I remained open-minded and contacted both Samura and Kishiro separately. We've exchanged a few words over the communication channels, both of the companies seemed friendly and eager to cooperate.
The newly formed Goverment of Kusari has announced taxes to those who are transporting cargo from Kusari into Rheinland space, but so far our company haven't had any issues with the Naval forces taxing our transports. If that happens I will be sure to inform you Amiral.

I will end this communique with what our company in planning in the upcoming days. Ille De France Shipping will make sure that there's enough fuel for our war vessels in Leeds and the systems around it. Our transports are working non-stop, transporting fuel from Gallia to Planet Leeds.
