"As you're aware by now, Taskmaster, events are not with us."
"Schultzky might be improper under stress, but he's charismatic in emergencies and he only speaks for the ship, he doesn't operate its positions. The Sirene will get to Tau Forty Four with five hundred people aboard. We're willing to wire two hundred million credits for population reception and the treatment of wounded if any arrive - beyond that, the residents will have to work for their own keep."
"I regret passing this lodestone onto the Natio, a people who we hardly know, but we do not know when we can take claim repatriation of the refugees. It may be years till Bering is again secure. Know this; all refugees headed to Tau 44 have a working understanding of English, and are extremely intuitive engineers, of course. They will be prime citizens of your nation going forward, if they so choose. It is an unfortunate truth of the underworld that we have few acquaintances who we can trust not to enslave or abuse our diaspora. Such is the nature of violence."

Gentlemen,
I had no idea things had become this dire. It's good to hear that the maintenance logs and schematics of the Metropolis have been of use to you in your restoration of the Sirene. I apologize that we could not at the time send anyone down to help with the repairs ourselves; the project to restore and rebuild Canberra was taxing to say the least.
The asteroid exclusion zone around Canberra is... minimal. It should be able to fit a Spyglass, but just barely. We're ready to receive refugees whenever, with triage and surgeries prepared for any wounded and homes secured for all five hundred souls. All citizens of the Natio have no need to worry about shelter and sustenance, as Canberra is a lot larger on the inside than it looks on the outside, and we have plenty of living space to go around. As soon as your people are registered, they'll be allowed to choose their new flats aboard Canberra from a few styles, all of which are sized appropriately for their living arrangements, familial andor otherwise. Healthcare, educational resources, basic income, and access to the opportunities board will become available to them from the moment they're registered with the Ministry of Services.
He pauses for a split second.
If it sounds like I'm talking life in the Natio up somewhat, it's not to make it sound glamourous. Living in the Natio isn't a free ride -- there's plenty of work to be done, spots to be filled, dirty jobs to be handled -- but it is, to an extent, safe, both in the realms of "you won't get shot" and "you won't go hungry". We are a small nation of only thirty thousand, in a good political and economic situation, and we feel it's only right to extend what we have out here in this little corner of Sirius to others who both need and deserve it. If you need to get people out of the chaos and into stability, we will always be here, with open arms.
Events may not be with you, comrades, but we are.
In solidarity,

Comrade Frei,
I had our chief engineer and head of research and development go digging for more notes on the Mark I Spyglass-class dreadnoughts as originally put into production by the Vespucci Triumvirate. She came back with, well...
One customized ship blueprint for a Mark I Spyglass-class dreadnought, configured with the Sirene-type's oddball equipment. I'm not one hundred percent sure where she got all the details on the Sirene's additions, but according to her, the attached blueprints should be, quote "accurate enough to take it apart and put it back together blindfolded". The only thing not in the blueprint details is how to build a Spyglass core, but that's equal parts lost science and rare art.
To a brighter future,
Taskmaster Harold Kane Fourth Octavarium Fleet
