Good Idea. It does actually look like a good spot for a docking port. Some sort of diagonal slingshot.

Another thing I noticed is... The Osiris Rings are right infront of the Command Deck... Won't that um... Make it hard to see? It looks like theres a type of Window/Visor thing on the C-Deck.

It's the same on the Osiris. The observation deck's at the right height to look through the rings, though, and realistically, they shouldn't be relying on visual information from the officers on board to fight the battle.

Theoretically, you could RP logging out as cloaking... just don't do it in combat.
