SF"s home system is New London (Or is it Leeds?? I forgot).
You can't have two full time factions controling the same "zone of influence".. makes for messy set ups. But *shrug* That's open for interprentation as I'm not the authority on that.

Yes the SF is currently in controll of Cambridge but if possible I would like it if no other factions started using New London, Leeds etc....
Kiggles :)
I've been mildly miffed by one-shot weapons since their implementation, oh so long ago. I remember the days when fights were a matter of who could aim better, rather than who could aim a single shot. - Virus
Wolf, I read through the server rules again which cleared the price (bad question anyway), but it still doesn't explain why New London is unclaimable. Igiss states,
"Any system that does not belong to another faction and contains at least one base of appropriate NPC faction can be declared home."
This, i would take to mean, that since SF doesn't curretnly own New London, but rather Cambridge then New London would be up for claiming. I believe there is a police base in New London, so that would be a substitute for the navy, but even if the police base did exist, would SF's zone of influence effect the affiliation w/ the police/effect the availability claim?
BTW: thanks for the help, guys

I.e. If my organization wants to take Omicron Alpha, I must take on an Outcast tag. See where I'm going? That's the rule we're going by in the server.
can we have the surefire way of getting a tag then please? :)
if theres a rule, that states we must have one if our faction claims a system can we please be told how to get one, as noone, in the whole of the freelancer gaming world knows the exact way to get a tag
cos this rules getting broken by everyone at the moment ;D
2.5 States that you have the right to own a system if you have your character green with the faction you want to join.
2.6 States that zone of influence only comes into play during time of war.
In reality Cambridge is the SF system right now and they (i assume they are) affiliated with the Bretonia Navy, so the other systems should be open for claiming for Bretonia Police, Mollys, and Gaians. For these are the main factions in the Bretonia systems. This really doesn't break any rules plus if bretonia becomes home of 2 factions both lawful then think about this: The SF will be like the Navy and can use their time now to fight a war that they should be getting ready for agianst kusari (as the RP story you see all over the bases in discovery suggest) and leave then the defense of bretonia to the new faction which will be the police. We can say that bretonia could work more efficient this way haveing a faction that works for offense only and on for defense only.

Mollies Dublin
Gaians Edinburgh
Bretonia Police Leeds or Cambridge
Bretonia Armed Forces SHOULD be New London
Technically Kiggles if hyperwave wants to be Bretonia police then he can however to maintain RP several rules would have to be followed by both clans such as:
1) Both clans must have the same faction status.
2) If one clan went to war then the other must also go to war
There is probably a few others but i cant think of them. So before you decide to align your clan this way hyperwave then you should talk with Kiggles because both clans would be locked in a bond with each other.
