I mean in all honesty. They have twice the base armor of VHF's, a second CD slot, more guns and a power core that allows for a stupid amount of spamming.
They take almost no skill to fly, are way too effective for how easy they are, and it's a pain in the ass to fight those to a point where they are getting banned from Events and Snub-Slots in events.
They need some sort of tweaking, like being able to mount only normal Armor Upgrades, (Not ones that are meant for capital ships) or have some of their firepower removed to be sponges to soak damage only. Currently, they are a swiss-army knife that can do everything, even be used against Caps, while they are much harder to fight than any other Snub-class.

Please show me what event's SHF have been banned from? Because the recent event's i've been to SHF where allowed?
If SHF that only fire 7 guns/turrets forward get that removed then maybe the VHF Sabre/Lich and UN VHF should also remove the capability of shooting 7 guns/turrets forward too?
Well, they are SUPER heavy fighters, they are superior to vhfs. Did you ever compared the turn rate to a gb? I bet one gb can outturn a shf, so get behind them and have fun with them. But a nerf is not neccessary. If you do so, get them a turn rate close to vhfs, so they can srill snack them.

Generally speaking SHFs are superior in 1v1s, which is what the meta should be (it used to be, then some snub changes undermined this, and now we're back to it).

Most Super Heavy Fighters have more then 7 guns/turrets in general but only 7 of them or potentailly 8 fire forward, you could say a freighter is more OP then a SHf because they can be turret steered, turret zoomed, and mount CAU 8 on most of them, as well as using Adv Flashpoints. with CD, some can mount nukes and CM.
But then you also get the SHF who will mount full shield busters with double MR, or Nova and these are also apparently OP, but you could do very similar with a heavy bomber and mount full EMP or Scatter guns and double Nova.
Then you can go against a SHF vs 2 or 3 VHF, the SHF will die unless they know what they are doing and could possibly take out one of the three.
The Super Heavy Fighter class has just lost one mine dropper to avoid the insta kills, but nerfing a SHF some more will make them become one of those clases that are no longer flown, because they are alot bigger, slower then VHF's,, most bombers can kill a SHF if they know what they are doing, which is quiet simple. full scatter guns, and a nova or SNAC or something along those lines.
