Quote:Cheating and Exploits - Modifying your Discovery Freelancer installation or using third-party tools in order to gain advantage over other players is strictly forbidden and will result in deletion of ingame assets or/and a ban.
Consequences:
Your Ship is setting off the Anti-cheats. Therefore your access to the Server has been curtailed until you come forward and explain the reason why.
If you require evidence, you may request such via PM from a Staff member. Only the accused or an official faction leader of the accused person's faction may request such. Once you have the evidence, and if you wish to dispute it, you may post in the Sanction Thread below. Do not continue PM'ing a staff member, as that will result in your Appeal being denied. If you PM a staff or post in the sanction thread and you are not directly involved, you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbors, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of Admin Right #CTE 750AE

That's news to me, since the only time I've been disconnected is when the server crashes.
"until you come forward and explain the reason why"
I can't explain something i don't have any information about, or even knew was happening. I use Nvidia Inspector to cap my framerate to sub-155, DATA\INTERFACE\HudShift.ini is the only game INI I edited because it is allowed, and i have no disallowed mods.
All I can suggest is that do a complete new Install and with no modifications.
Once you have done so, post here and your access will be restored.

* Total deletion of Discovery Freelancer folder.
* Installation of Discovery Freelancer from a fresh installer download.
* Updated the launcher via the popup box.
* Patched the game via the launcher.
* Enabled "Log Local Time" in launcher.
* Enabled "Show Flight Text" in launcher.
* Enabled "Show Lag Icon" in launcher.
* Enabled "Show Departing Player" in launcher.
* Enabled "Increase Draw Distance" in launcher.
* Added DATA\INTERFACE\HudShift.ini.
* Edited DATA\INTERFACE\HudShift.ini.
* Launched game and started singleplayer to verify INI edit was correct and game is still framerate limited.
If anticheat is still acting up, it's hilariously broken.
As for it being "hilariously broken", maybe the Server doesn't like you, because 99.9% of the people who play on here don't set off the ACs, and therefore they don't have any problems.
Please note, any Files you modify, are done at your own risk and could incur a ban.
Please install again with "No modification"
Once this has been accomplished and no problems show up, then your access will be restored and any modifications that you may or may not do afterwards will be at your own risk.

No part. According to this post made by an admin, DATA\INTERFACE\HudShift.ini is permitted to be modified. Since it was explicitly given the green light, and there's an official statement made by staff that says it's okay, i did it.
"Please note, any Files you modify, are done at your own risk and could incur a ban."
If users are given permission by an admin to do something, it should not result in a ban. Why state that something is okay to use if using it will get people banned?
DATA\INTERFACE\HudShift.ini has been deleted, the install is back to full vanilla.
Now with a fresh clean Install there should not be any problems.
Access has been restored and we shouldn't see any problems.
