Let me introduce myself first. I am Troy Augustin of the Forlorn Hope, a Knight in this mercenary order tasked to find a member of ours called Elena Voigt.
From the time I have been around, I can remember you two who have been in contact with her for an elongated time, except for the rest of our members. She does not answer our calls. If you could tell me what you know, I'd owe you a favor which I could pay you back in a manner of your choice. Within reason.
The last contact I had with Miss Voigt was more than a year ago on Planet Gran Canaria. I was assuming she was just busy after our meeting there, but now I am actually worried. I'll divert some of my resources to investigate her whereabouts. Should we find something, I will contact you.

I do not know, to be honest. It is hard to judge from a single message alone if she’d truly prefer her current circumstances. The life of a mercenary is not an easy one, but we feel at home and surrounded by family here. It just makes do and is better than nothing.
On the other hand, I am not the one who could decide anything for her. Nor do I have the intention to ever be close enough to her to influence her in any way. I am just selfish enough to desire her face among the ones in our base. I consider her a good friend, and her mere existence around me would make my life more bearable. From there, she can do whatever she wants.
However, it seems you two gentlemen did not pursue her enough to make her stick with you either. Which is a shame.
