P. Becker : [Comm-ID] The Order, Legacy of Orillion Cell~

Guten abend,
The Core may already know who I am, but for formality's sake, I'll reiterate it here. I am Patricia Becker, current section lead of the Order's Legacy of Orillion cell. In the past such heavy dealings like these would have gone to my predecessor Dr. Callahan, but due to his absence, his position now defaults to me.
As of late, our tensions have seemed to be waning. Further understanding has allowed both of our organizations to do as they please without conflict (most of the time), and my men have been allowed to focus on tasks far more taxing. However, as I'm sure you've noticed, there has been a dramatic increase of Nomad, Infestee and alien cooperative activity lately. What was shown today outside the accursed Lichtenfelde Complex showed that not only are the Nomads growing stronger, larger and more ferocious than in the past, but they number more frequent as well. Should this be allowed to get out of hand, both of our parties risk losing the Omicrons once more to these things.
To this end I'm contacting you here today to see to a formal cease-fire in lieu of this defensive 'war' the Core and Order have been at for years. At the rate we're going, this conflict only serves to help the Nomads and their thralls, and seeing to the end of it would not only aid my people, but almost certainly the Core as well. What was fought today was hopefully the first of many cooperative moves against the Nomad threat.

Good day, Ms. Becker.
I'll start with the fact that I don't have much love for you or your organisation. I have lost many good pilots and friends to The Order, much more than I would ever care to admit. Ever since the Core existed, it has been at war with the Order. When or where the first battle was fought, no one remembers. However, it remains a fact that to this day, this conflict weakens us both, it drains our resources in meaningless power struggles. Furthermore, I have never personally agreed with the Order's ways, however what I do agree with is your proposal.
We've reached a point of no return. There's no stopping now, we can't just pack up and leave, both your and my people have invested a great deal of resources in the Omicrons. We both have dedicated our lives, in our own ways, to make the Omicrons and by extent, the whole of Sirius better. But our very way of life is at risk. We stand at the brink of annihilation and anyone who would dismiss this claim as nonsense is a mad fool. The nomads are growing in strength by the hour. The sad truth is, we cannot hope to win this battle if we continue bickering like enraged apes, slinging excrement in our faces.
There was a time when I too was part of the Order, I had just achieved the rank of Captain when the battle of Toledo happened. Blinded by lust for power, the Order had somehow failed to predict a full scale invasion by the Core. I fought for more than twenty four hours straight, without taking as much as a cigarette break and when finally the Core gained the upper hand, all got annihilated by the Nomads. They swooped in and devastated what was left of our fleets. And if that wasn't enough...well, I'm sure you know what happened to Toledo. You're most likely wondering why I'm telling you this and there's damn good reason for it. This is the best example I could give you to prove my point. If we had worked together, we would've stopped the nomads then and there.
If we wish to achieve victory, we must work together. I realize this will not happen overnight. We have to remember how to trust again. And of course, there will be terms. We can begin with a simple one for now: You leave us do whatever the hell we like and in return, we'll leave you to do whatever the hell you like.
So, what do you say, Ms. Becker? Do we have an accord?

Guten abend,
I'm pleased to see the Core too understands the situation before us. For now, we'll accept the terms laid out. While I cannot say for now if the Overwatch will follow the trend, or perhaps even some independent captains, the Legacy of Orillion cell will authorize the Core as a neutral entity, and thus will not interfere with Core matters. I suspect in the near future more formal talks around this will take place, but at the moment this is exactly what is needed.
