My apologies for contacting you through this medium, I seldom use my civilian credentials, but I appear to be locked out of the normal method; which I assume has something to do with my query. I have a few things to ask you, but the main one you'll have probably already figured out. What has happened to the Dragons? I returned from my training to find the Asai leadership disappeared. I've heard nary a word from Daimyo Watanabe, and I've not seen a single Kajima ship in days.
Did something happen during my absence?
I did have something to talk to Daimyo Watanabe about, but he left the station before I had a chance. So with that in mind, I come to you about it. For over a year (since January, 825A.S.), I've been working on a secret project. A decaying liner I discovered drifting inside Okinawa. I've been repairing it and restoring it over time, with it nearly being in flying shape again. Here's the state it was in when I first happened upon it:
Numerous rips across the hull with parts of the ship being exposed to open space.
Completely destroyed fusion powercore.
Engines totally inoperable.
Oxygen generator non-functioning.
Gravity malfunctioning with most decks lacking any sort of gravitational force.
Breeches to the water tanks causing flooding on two decks that still had gravity.
For the most part the superstructure was intact, aside from the previously mentioned breeches.
During the last year, I've been working on it's restoration and the only parts left unusable are the engines and powercore (but limited amount of power are now available). I'm telling this to you for a number of reasons. I cannot finish the project on my own and I've done all I can to it. It's in a state when the proper engineers with the proper materials could get it in working order with relative ease. In addition, back when I was assigned my Sendai archives project, I transferred a lot of the data to it, once I had the mainframes up and running that is.
I found some interesting data within the Sendai files. I don't know if you're interested in them at all, but they'll come with the liner should you be interested in helping finish what I've started. I am proud of my accomplishments with this, and normally I wouldn't so freely give something like this up, but there is no way I can even pilot an entire liner by myself if I did manage to finish the remaining tasks. Should you like to take the liner away, there is something you could assist me with in return, if you'd be willing.
