Mabey next time you get on your nomad Char. Fly him to beta, and dock at the base there, if you want to have a quick "get back to alpha fast" rout. Or you can go ahead, and wonder off to Kappa, and look more professional. If your lucky when you un-dock there might not be a nomad battle ship in your face.:yahoo:
Don't dock on our bases, don't hang too close to our bases. We revere the Nomads but we have limits and we don't like them sitting there conversing, especially if the conversation is derogatory. We don't like putting the spirits off but we have several different branches of Nomads identified, some more well-respected and powerful than others (and yes, the 101st has a research division for this *nods at Dennis*), and we will be more than happy to gently nudge you out of orbit, as you are currently at the low end of the specturm. By gently, of course, I mean with all the firepower we have docked on that planet, and even the awesome power of the Planetary Defense Grid (Roleplay power, that is. It's an untagged Starflier. ^_^). We will be more than happy to have you in-system (we always are) but our bases are something of a no-fly zone for those of us who don't bleed red. Stick to Kappa, I'd say, it's proffessional and probably more likely to get you your status (which, I assume, is Nomad tags and IDs), though I'd excuse Ruiz if there weren't anybody around.

Yeah, don't get close to Malta. No Nomad ever goes there. The Outcasts would be freaked out to see the spirits around their homes. At the least they would think of it as some bad omen. Stay in the Siniestre cloud, Kappa, and the other nomad areas. Besides, if you're just sitting around chatting, the location won't matter much.

Oh, but we do at times happen to flyby near Malta. At times though. And several of those times our arrival was quite crucial in defeat of enemy forces. Fun times indeed. NPCs don't go but they are different topic, NPCs alone don't hold merit to me. So, to put it in perspective: we don't hang around Malta but we do come there rarely and there was nothing against it, mostly roleplay sessions, but at times coming in larger force if we have specific interest. Just that hanging all the time is rather off on behalf of the original poster's character. Siniestre cloud, Omicron Beta and such are best places to hang around for Nomad character really, or bathing in sun corona, they like that too. Not much roleplay value in Kappa unfortunately as it's hoarded by nomad gun farmers, barely any roleplay there at all.
Alright, guess i'm going to have to step in and clear this whole mess up.
1. These two players ( Immunity and [N-H]Deflection ) are trying their best to RP as nomads, and are working with my outcast character to back her RP story. They are both trying to perfect their behavior as nomads so that they can one day be accepted by the keepers and actually use nomad ships that dont suck.
2. The nomad light fighter is very limited in what it can do. It cannot equip nomad energy cannons or blasters because it's hardpoints are all level 9. For that reason, they're using 'human' weapons, both players have been supplied with Krakken Type 2's by myself.
3. Outcasts worship nomads as spirits, and in most situations an outcast will not attack a nomad except in self defense. I cant speak for NPC nomads, but these two players view outcasts as non-threatening because of that stance, and will not attack them outright.
4. Anyone who expects these guys to try their 'rp' in omicron kappa is off their rocker. They do not have friendly status towards npc nomads, and the Nomads in kappa will absolutely rape everything they encounter. In addition, there are almost never any players in omicron kappa - how are you supposed to demonstrate your ability to RP a nomad if nobody is ever around to witness it?
And finally, to Immunity and Deflection: Dont dock at malta again, try to use Ibiza base to avoid situations like this.
2. The public nomad fighter is supposed to be rubbish. Pvp skills have no meaning for the Keepers, it's about roleplay. Would a hybrid nomad really have that much control over his/her/its ship? They shouldn't be engaging in pvp anyway, considering the guidelines in the Keepers Post and the lovely reports from uninformed players. I equipped Magma Hammers on my Nomad Hybrid, but I never used them.

This is completly incorrect. My trial nomad (and many others) have spent his (its?) time in Kappa and Delta, widely regarded as some of the most dangerous systems. The Nomad Light Fighter is very agile. If npcs come after you, just dodge and find a safer spot.
Anyway, you don't need players around to be a good roleplayer. It is more likely for a nomad to contact a human personally, ie private chat, than to use system chat. It would use less energy to contact one person, than to make a system-wide message. Trial nomads aren't at the peak of their power, so the private option seems to be the best.
About docking on Human bases: I would suggest against it, for game play and roleplay reasons. Firstly, while the Outcasts may revere the Nomads as spirits, they would unlikely let them dock with their bases. How does a nomad ship actually dock with a human station? They can't exactly just hail the command and say "***Let.me.in***".
Secondly, the bases in Alpha are crewed by robots, would a Robot recognise the special relationship between the Outcasts and the "Spirits"? Unlikely. It would probably detect an organic signal and deny any docking procedures.
Gameplay: not every Outcast player knows about the relationship between them and the nomads, so these players would likely be confused about a nomad ship docking with Ibiza/Malta. Keepers aren't allowed to dock on human bases, so why are trial nomads?
Note: Kappa planets are OORP bases, so they don't really count.
