My love.
I have news. I have been contacted by the mouth piece of the Aoi. Weird, I know. But their lust for Darlington took over their lust for carnage. Thus, considering part of my past and visibility due to the current events, Murasama has initiated a conversation.
My advice on this is the following. When they struck a deal, they will follow it to the letter. If they offer something without strings attached, there are strings attached and consequences. So make sure it is a deal. A trade. They want something we control the access to. For years, we managed to deny it. Use that, and make sure we get something in return.
Be careful as well. A meeting in person is as dangerous as taking a stroll in Gamma singing God Save the Queen in the system channels.
I will see you in three days.
My eternal love,
Kaze Nelson Reidman Dagon

I must ask, as I'm sure you were expecting, why in the hell are you talking with the Aoi?
Sweetheart, I'm sure you can imagine my discomfort, so tell me honestly, do you believe in this course of action? Because I certainly don't. But for you, I'll take a chance.

Victor.
He is the one that came to me. For years, all that Bretonia received from the Aoi was their silent attacks. No words ever traded. They are doing so now. A development, through and through. While I do support wholeheartedly the burn first, ask question later approach of Bretonia, we have forces tied securing that . Order, in their zelot approach protecting those who work with Gallia, are as fickle as they come and will not partake in the war against Gallia. Auxesia, more of the same, non-committal, unhelpful and incapable in any way, with the suspicions that we both have.
Hessians turned their coat, even helping Gallia as the proof your own people managed to gather. The Coalition is if anything, barely present in the defense of New Holland, with what little forces they did placed on Sydney, leaving this past week. Rumors have it that a battle is brewing in Omega-47. Considering what I know, they are on the defense. And there is only Tangier there to defend, a Hessian hold. Our so called allies or neutral parties are anything but.
We are alone and we need guns. We cannot afford to have men and women guarding a relic, while the universe throws itself at us. They want, they lust for that city and what it contains. That gives us power in this deal. And if it is a trade, a fair one, they will follow it. My advice is define clear terms. If they bring in their firepower to this war in return for Darlington, all the better. Because the opposite is more of the same.
So in face of the same, I suggest we actually press on and see where this leads us.
My eternal love,
