Also, there should be a command in "additional commands" to change the color of the crosshair itself. I get that it would not work for additionally created ones but would be cool to have the standard one rebuilt for this option. Hud colors are only worth half as much without it.

I discussed this with Markam earlier and I'm kind of thinking we just shave 750 power drain off the SNAC. Will bring it to the balance chat for further discussion.

You might get a kill or two, you might have fun, you'll definitely learn a thing or two (especially if you record the fight for your own purposes and watch it back later to learn from your mistakes), and the event will be more lively for everyone. Don't worry about suckin' because you're there and you're contributing to the brawl even if you eat your own mine or get dusted by a cannonball ten minutes in.
Mind you, do as I say, not as I do. I have a bad habit of sleeping through these things. (Y'all need to stop doing events during my prime catch-up-on-the-previous-week's-missed-sleep time.)
I am sorry, but you really do not have a clue how frustrating it is for a person to go to an "event" and die in the first minute and the thats it. is for newer and "not so good at pvp" players. It is a complete waste of time. "record" nice idea, however a bit of a bother to see yersle get killed in 30 seconds.. pesonally, and maybe I am the only person that feels this way, the only "event" I had fun in was the bash when the respawn as allowed.. I got to at least participate for more that a minute..even got some great hits on a few ships and one actual kill.. Humble , I suggest that maybe in some systems that are considered "war" zones you make the respawn .. 5 or 10 minutes... o us crappy flyers can get some actual combat time in. It iss not like there is a prize or anything to be won.. I find that just not being the first one to die is a great accomplishment.. something fer the people that have a ping over over 150 and not playing a gamer rig.. again. I am trying to a rude asshat or anything, just trying to lend one crappy flyers point of view on this.. Yes Connecticut is there.. and empty or just full of people transferring cargo or hiding stash ships and bank ships and not that "fun" either..maybe stick somefull strength npcs out in a spot there for us crappy players.. missions are cute, but the vanilla game ones are better, and the disco e seem to be there just for money making and "economy killiers. Just one guys take on it... yes I know I am pissing in the wind on this... I will keep mining and trading.. while the "experienced" player go make 100 mill an hour on battleship missions.. I have done a couple of trade events, which are not to bad, just seem to be large money give aways for the usual bunch.. I aint quitting , just not doing the events that could be funner.. sorry that just my take on it..
everyone started from 0, everyone was crappy at one point. you get better by practising and dying a lot.
Conn exists for training purposes, i suggest you use it. if you don't find anyone in conn, just ask some of the good players to help you train. there are many who are willing and patient enough to help new players. you just have to ask and be willing to learn
