I'm (kinda) new here. Used to play some discovery in versions 85~88 iirc but in other servers, first time in this.
As you can see i'm not very good at english, my native language is spanish.
I've been here a couple of weeks, it's hard to choose a faction to start with. Nomads were always my favourites, but Rp them will be hard. Also pirates are really fun to play for me.
Recently got my first PvP interaction 2014 or so.
Saw a LOT of changes since last time I played, new toys and factions, everything seems interesting.
If you'd like to come join a pirate faction that is relatively welcoming to newer players, I highly recommend the Liberty Rogues. We're pretty laid back and love to blow stuff up. LR Discord
For Nomads, I'm not going to recommend one way or another because I don't personally play Nomad factions.
From what I hear, English isn't the first language of many Disco players so thats nothing to be ashamed of. Outside of Grey's shameless plugging (something of which I will be guilty of in a second) there are a few good Discord Servers (if you use the software) that are for Indie and Official Faction Nomad Players floating around and can help with refining RP skills and such. The ones that come to mind from what I know are:
