Sun looks around the hall with slight wonder and amazement. She seems to be at home in such a holy place, keeping her hands in front of her. She looks at the papers along the wall nodding "Indeed, I have heard of these places. Wonderful things" she says pleasantly. She perks up slightly at the mention of Tea adopting her serene attitude once more. Underneath she questions the decision ahead of her, going through many different bad scenarios. What if the tea was poisoned with Cardimine was amongst the top of them, after a moment of slight meditation on her worries she lets out a deep breath looking at Kiku "Kiku-San, Lotus tea would be welcomed" she relents
Kiku had to give her a slight smile, despite feeling of Sun's insecurity. Kiku however understood her stance, who wouldn't be afraid a little on space station full of terrorists and females fighting for their rights. "I've got feeling you wouldn't really mind observing preparations of the tea." She said silently and and motioned with her head towards the little kitchen hidden in the corner. "You don't have to be worried about your life here. We are being watched by somebody, and this somebody is our guardian here. If something would to me or you, this person would make sure it doesn't happen again." Kiku said, hoping it would ease some stress and tense, soon Kiku arrived to the kitchen.
Sun puts on a warm smile at the suggestion "Watching it being prepared would, indeed be welcomed as well" she says with a small polite bow. Sun walks to the kitchen she heeds the words of Kiku-san nodding at her words solemnly "I trust in your compassion and kindness, Kiku-san." she says in a friendly manner. She enters the small kitchen looking around with delight at the smallness of it. It reminds her of a life she once had.
Kiku kept listening to Sun quietly, from time to time she nodded. "Well respect is important and it just depends on you if you accept the fact it could be gender oriented. As long as it's safe And keeps the place in safe, I wouldn't really mind it" She let out a silent sigh and looked up at Sun."My father was an imperial soldier, he took his responsibilities seriously and would do anything in his power to achieve what must be achieved. This method killed him, as he sacrificed himself for his wingmen who survived. My sister is like him and my prayers go to her. My mother however tried to teach us, but shortly after she had experienced a mental breakdown and died.
So my sister took care of me, became something like my Guardian. She is the person dealing with dirt and nasty things. " Kiku exhaled.
Sun watches the procedure closely, she seems keenly interested in the preparation of the tea. She speaks on Kiku's concerns "Not many visit my temple on Pygar, so I understand your trepidations." she pauses watching the lotus flower being chopped into pieces then looks up "As you wish." she follows to the pillows sitting down in a cross-legged position. Sun takes a long deep breath then looks over at Kiku at her query "Oh what is there to say, I am an Administrator of Freeport 9 and a Buddhist. A difficult combination in dealing with those of Theta, but they have respected me much. I do fear the brotherhood leader respects me because of my, well, gender" she smiles and has a small giggle "I should not judge him, he finds his own way in this universe as we all do." she lets out a breath, reminiscing in her mind "Before this, I was a Freelancer in a Serenity-class called the Bodhi, hence my tree tattoo. I met many interesting and even enlightening people during that time. Became friends with many, including those that attempted to pirate me. I miss the simplicity of those times, but my position is important" she pauses letting Kiku respond

Sun nods along to her words, she has an understanding and sympathetic face "My father left me when I was 3, by all accounts a drunk. My mother is still alive on Junyo, she is very proud I managed to escape the artificial islands" she pauses briefly "I was raised a single child, and before long I entered a life of crime. Smuggling in atmospheric transports and, well other things I am not proud of" she lets out a brief sigh, putting her hands together "I did fall in love, I did have a daughter...but they both ended in tragedy. After that suffering, I found my peace" she remains quiet for awhile after saying the words looking over to Kiku "We all deal with suffering, some say that in order to be free one must suffer
Kiku agreed, suffering was something she experienced herself. "I am glad you found your peace and I am sorry for the cost of it. It must have been terrible, but looking at you now, I believe you are a very strong woman." Kiku said, giving Sun a warm smile."Some people do not trust my words, just because I am very young, like if age was proof of your wisdom and knowledge. I just sacrificed life of the teenager in order to better understand writtings and poems of Lady Matsuda. I sacrificed my life of the teenager so I could help others and teach the will of Amaterasu. However I've never looked at my sisters, like if they owed me something for my lost years. It's something I've done on my own. " Kiku slowly got up with last words and moved back to the kitchen, where she resumed preparation of the tea. Dry pieces of lotus were put into a small bowl and mixed with green pieces of some different flower.
Sun follows her back to the kitchen, she has a warm smile "Many do not trust since we live in such dangerous times where it is in such small quantity." she pauses watching the mixing of the flower "I moved to better understanding of myself, it was hard to accept what had transpired but in my time at the monastery I found much wisdom in letting go of the suffering." she says, waiting for Kiku to respond.
Kiku had to smile."These times of war make people scared, if you are scared, you aren't open to accept trust nor your inner peace. Even worse, when people are afraid of something, they act on aggressive basis." Water slowly began boiling, so Kiku finished her preparations of the lotus tea. Few seconds later she filled cups with the hot water and offered one of them to Sun."Wisdom is one way of many how to get rid of suffering, Sun-san. That's why I am here. I offer the way of light, calm music, ears for people who would love to free themselves from suffering, inner peace through meditations, rituals and reading from Lady Matsuda's book. If you had gone through suffering, you kno well how to end it. It's up to you, if you keep this secret for you, or share it with others. I took the latter path and... It makes me happy, it's purpose and my destiny in this universe. Even if I'd love to walk on the sands of Curacao, I heard it's such a paradise. Kiku grabbed her cup and walked back to the table with pillows, them she slowly sat down on one of them.
