She nodded. "A rapier you say? I can arrange a new one for you, to replace the one that got destroyed. We have good diplomatic ties to Malta. You should one day teach me how to handle a sniper rifle properly. I never had instruction or experience in using one." She took a sip of her tea.
Yoshigahara was surprised by Kiri's words, nobody has ever asked her to show and pass her talent. "That's something I've never thought somebody would ask me to." Yoshigahara replied in calm manner, for sure Kiri has just gained few points in Yoshi's reputation list. "Oh really, having a grip of Rapier would be satisfying and it would also make my life easier. A lot. Arigatou."
Aya smiled at Yoshi. "I requested several Rapiers from Malta earlier. There are 2 ships who have no pilot yet. You can be one of them. Malta has the requirement that all GC pilots wanting to pilot them, prove themselves as capable pilots before handing them over. You can contact the Istituto di Ricerca Militare Maltese and present yourself as a candidate pilot.
As for the sniper rifle. Would you be willing to instruct me in the use of them?"
Yoshigahara nodded. "I would suggest Tomioka, but it will need at least one week of intensive training. Do you have time?" Yoshigahara asked Kiri, with a smirk as she knew Kiri must be way too busy. "On the bright side you want to learn about rifles so it may be much shorter if we leave out basic sniper training ." Yoshigahara said, smirk still persisting on her face.
She thought it over. "No, I want to learn it properly. Not the shortcut version. If I only learn half of it, I would be prone to mistakes. Tomioka is fine. The Blood Dragons have an outpost on the planet, where we could land."
Yoshigahara had to grin. "Fine, as you wish. I have got one uncompleted mission on Tomioka, but I have to warn you in advance. If we begin, we cannot abort it. Are you sure you want to leave your life in comfort and join me, in harsh conditions?" Yoshigahara asked Kiri in tone which would give a hint of joy and adrenaline, something Yoshigihara liked the most in her life.
Aya smiled at this. "Do not underestimate me. I am not an arm chair general like those navy puppets have on New Tokyo. I shed blood alongside my Sisters. The blossom is still my choise of fighter."
Yoshigahara wasn't surprised by such a challenge Kiri had put in front of her. "I hope your words are enough. But contact me when you're ready." Yoshigahara said and Kiku just had to sigh heavily. "And I hope you both will survive it in one piece, if you ever decide to go there. My prayers are with both if you."
Aya nodded at both of them. "I think this concludes our meeting for now. Yoshi-san, I will contact you when I got enough time to go with you to Tomioka. Kiku-san, continue your good work in lifting the spirits of our Sisters." She stood up to leave, but not before the customary bow.
