The look of the Kremlin at close sight once again after a prolonged absence was inspiring once again. The magnificence of the architecture was only alive in memory as he was recovering from his sudden sickness. This time he would be welcomed as an ordinary citizen, and nothing more. The Duma will not wait for those who are sick, and he held no grudges to have been removed while he was at his lowest point. As his ship would begin the landing process to the designated site for citizens, he would begin sending out an encrypted message to individuals whom he had met and held close contact with. He hopes that Petrov, Alexey, and Andrey would receive them swiftly as time is of importance.
As he would walk to a disclosed bar location within the Compound, he would hear news from the News Broadcasts screaming in the streets about the absence of the Premier, and the crisis within the Kremlin. He would take note of this circumstance, something to ask the others about when they arrive. He arrives at the Bar, and speaks to obtain a seat for his party. He orders a round of drinks, to be sitting on a round marble table for them to enjoy. He leans back into his chair with his legs crossed underneath the table, his eyes focused on watching the news behind the bartender at the counter.
After the Events in the Kremlin, Petrov recieved an encrypted message from an old friend of his. It was Leon Guiterrez, a trusted and respected Comrade, he thought. He couldn't deny this offer and went straight to the Bar which they would meet.
“Comrade Guiterrez!"
He would shout from afar before he sits down at the Table. Petrov noticed that there were alot of folks saluting him which have probably watched the news and are aware by now what's happening.
“I see you're alive and well. You recovered well it seems like our Hospitals took great care of you."
Volgograd - the heart of Coalition and his homeworld. Andrey was born and grew up here and now Andrey came back after few years from departure to Jiangxi. He was here with business affairs as the secretary of Volgograd Industrial and was dealing mostly with a new facility for workers and former slaves from Sirius and Gallia. The regular thing for people like him.
When he finished dealing with directors and giving a speech for the workers at a certain facility, he left and went to the capital. While Andrey has flown to Kremlin dome in a shuttle, the communicator has notified him about a new message being received. "Weird" - he thought, - "I can't remember what I've added someone to the priority addresses except the Chief - Natasha Romanov."
The message has opened. Just a few words from a person he didn't expect to see so soon. The former minister of plenty has invited him to one of a very few bars in a Kremlin dome. A short answer was written in a minute and Andrey just said pilot to change a final stop.
The shuttle arrived swiftly to the Kremlin, and in ten minutes he would be at the bar. A tall young man in a black coat would come out of the small transport. Andrey grew a short beard after he was promoted to the Director of Logistics. It still was not a great and fluffy beard as the man wanted but he kept believing in the success of this. Andrey's black hair was styled backwards and he was looking really respectable and sharp, as any "boss" should. The man really believed he deserves this and soon this might create him some troubles. But not now.
Right now he is entered the abovementioned bar and looked around. Its time to talk a bit with one of the really worthy comrades in Coalition.
During all the past, since his assigment to oversee the Coalition's search for knowledge, Novikov always chose allegiance to current government. But recent events showed clearly this time has passed.
After news about Selim's abscence, Alexey decided that situation on Volgograd can require his presence. Staying in hotel covered by shadow of Zvezdny, he awaited further development of events.
When he got message from ex-Minister of Plenty, he hadn't doubts. Novikov called a transport. This a meeting he couldn't miss...
He was gladly surprised when saw company, gathered in the bar. Alexey saluted them and joined at the table.
Staying seated, he smiles as Petrov begins to approach him at the table. He leans over to a side noticing Andrey standing as if trying to find them, Leon waves to signal him, and then notices Alexey passing by him heading straight to the table. As the party begins to get in their seats, Leon says with a grin "Please have a drink comrades, first round is on me. " he accompanies with a hand gesture of a lifted hand, palm up. He continues " I am sure you all must of been surprised to receive such a signal with little to no warning, and to see me as I am , alive and well. I am sure the Duma made my news.. presentable .. " he would say with a chuckle as he continues. "The recovery is still on-going, but it is safe to say I should no longer fear being bed ridden. There is much I'd like to ask so I wont bore you with details, but I am here now." . Leon leans forward onto the table with both of his arms bent, hands clasped together as he rests his chin on them.
"To be honest the intention was originally to see how things were, and to see where I may be needed, but then i saw that.." he gestures with lips, pointing at the Visual screens blasting the news behind the counters and near the tops of rounded columns strategically placed around the bar floor.
" I figured it be best we start this little reunion of mine with you explaining to me whats going on with that. The Premier missing?" he says confused with one eye brow raised, pulling his body back into the chair sitting straight up, legs still crossed.
He has been looking for Leon and the man waved him to drag Andrey's attention. Shevchenko wore off his coat. He was dressed in a red shirt, black pants and shoes under the coat.
Andrey went to Guiterrez's table where is already were two high-ranked men - Alexey Novikov of Expeditionary Corps and Ivan Petrov of Armed Forces, Commissariat or whatever he was. Andrey has no trust for both and this meeting has become to looks a bit suspicious.
"Greetings, comrades." - he has handshake them all when he came closer. Andrey sat down and smiled to Guiterrez, - "Leon, its been along. Where are you been?"
- "I am heard only a little of your talk. Can you tell me the crux? I have heard that our glorious Premier is gone, perhaps ran to his bretonian friends and now lives somewhere in a great estate on Cambridge with a bunch of tea whores and few gallic slaves. All as he liked, as I heard. But whatever he did, seems he's not here now as it seems." - he has spoken before Leon answered him. Andrey has felt some kind of anger when he listened to Coalition news about the Premier or his friend "The Lion of New Moscow".
Alexey drinked a bit and lit a cigarette. "Think, comrade Petrov will be the best man to tell about it. He should have information from the first hands."
Petrov smiles as he empties his glass. He looks around him at the people enjoying their time at the bar.
“I've recieved a comm from a Bretonian officer right after we saw the Premiers seat empty. An interesting timing which already has proven to be odd. The Premier is in Bretonian hands"
He takes another shot and laughs mildly looking at the table.
“We're in some realy deep mess right now. But finaly we get to see that two faced son of a b***'s true intentions. He has made himself an enemy of the State and has been exiled from this day on. I already have sent a transmission to our People."
Petrov lights a cigarette and looks towards Alexey.
“I kinda feel like I was too late with this move. Should've done that before Kellers coup. Nevertheless we have to do something."
He turns his face over to Guiterrez.
“A new Premier has to enter the office, very soon."
He turns to face Andrey to give him his full attention, as he began talking. His eyes grew for a bit as Andrey told him of the abandonment of the Premier. Stunned, by Andrey's comments about the Premier, he looked over to Alexey as he made a comment about Petrov being able to explain more. Suddenly Petrov began talking and explaining what he knew about the situation . Leon lets out a big sigh, as he leans towards his empty glass . He picks it up with his hand and swishes it in a circle as if there was still something in it left to drink. He puts down the glass and looks over to his comrades. " So it seems Selim has betrayed us then. It is quite unfortunate when your suspicions are proved correct. Isn't that right Comrade Petrov? " .
Sitting straight back, he scratches the back of his head as for a brief moment , still trying to grasp the situation. He looks around at the crowd as whispers and chatter fill the bar scene with the crisis being presented. The crowd did not seem to wish to dance, or enjoy their night. It is as if everyone was there to drink away this moment of confusion. He turns his attention back to his comrades, where a grin breaks out as he looks over to Petrov.
" 'A new premier has to enter the office very soon' you say ? Whom did you have in mind Comrade? " although he was addressing Petrov with that comment, he looked at Alexey and Andrey as if indirectly asking for their input as well.
It was time that petrov spoke openly about his opinion. He sighs and continues.
“This is a bit difficult to ask for you as I know you just recently recoverd, however."
He takes another shot.
“As of now, I don't see any better candidate than you, Comrade Guiterrez. What you have done for our people as the Minister of Plenty is just enormous. The Economic growth of our people and their fair share aswell as presenting equal oppurtunities has made their life better than ever before. You're also a good planner and organizer, as for a public figure the Workers would be more honored to see one of their own in charge than a Military Person. We are always there for our Comrades, till death aparts us. But I can not make the same mistakes as in the past. We've had our moments, it's time that the People get representet by someone they can relate to."
Petrov Looks at Alexey and Andrey
“Don't you think so too, Comrades? He has done more for the people than we could've ever. I think for a strong future we need a strong mind and a caring mind for our People. We're but mere servants and will continue to serve our People in their best interest. Comrade Guiterrez has a formidable record and the Industrial and their Workers are showing the best example of this. A reform is needed and I think our Comrade here knows how to do it!"
