Is there anything like lorewise/storywise etc. known if the Poole->Alberta-Gate will be opened?
Any link/info/help to get into that storry or reasons about the Britany Warships around the gate etc. would be greately appreciated.
I am curious and cant find much about it.
Asking for a friend of a friend of a possible corsair btw.
Thank you. My Friend said he could not get too close - all red. So he might has not noticed the gate was not even there when he passed by investigating with old maps.
btw... I don't recognise you without Beard...shouldn't have shaved it.
The gate used to exist and was operational, but then Gallia sabotaged it, which caused Liberty to lose two whole fleets. It was built to facilitate the arrival of Liberty reinforcements to Bretonia, but since Gallia has been defeated and the gate was not fixed, it was redundant, hence it is being repurposed. The Poole one still exists, but it's changed its location.
Now that is what i was hoping to read at the beginning. I was suspecting a connection to the War.
Well my friend has hope for his family, he says Artifacts are his Life and he thinks that alone is enough purpose for a new Supergate... Well that's what he said.
The gate was designed and developed as early as 2011 by DSE), then spearheaded on by a number of other factions over the years. DSE) initial plan had nothing to do with the Gallic war back then.

Poole Supergate was relocated (retcon) and is being disassembled.
Alberta's gate is still there. Just inactive.
Poole's Supergate has been moved away with Plymouth Outpost to 2G.
And therein ends a really potential opportunity to see greater system activity. Alberta should be removed. It has ZERO interplay value. Poole? just a meaningless through-road. Like Texas totally boring.
