Brothers, Sisters, proud sons and daughters of the Fatherland, fellow citizens,

I speak to you today not as a CEO of Daumann Heavy Construction, not as a member of the Bundestag but as a concerned citizen. My message is painful yet simple.

Our government has failed us. Our system has failed us!

The once mighty Rheinwehr is a husk of its former glory. Thousands of Rheinland's best die every week due to the incompetence of our current leadership. We see no progress but we face setbacks every day. In Omegas the Hessian danger looms ever more menacingly and piracy is on the rise. Hundreds of years have passed yet in Sigmas the Gas Miners Guild reminds us once again what defeat tastes like.

And what does Rheinland do while Bretonia annexes systems that should be rightfully ours? We sit idle.

I say enough! We need someone that will restore Rheinland to its rightful glory. Someone that will make our citizens feel safe once again and fill us with pride not shame.

This government has to accept responsibility for the current state of affairs and so should the Bundestag.

Therefore, as of today, I have ordered fulfillment of all contracts between Daumann Heavy Construction and the current government to be ceased. DHC will no longer support nor supply this regime which has blood of our citizens on its hand. Should that not suffice as a wake up call, we are ready to enter a general strike.

We assure all Rheinland citizens that crucial systems will be maintained so that no harm will befall you. This crisis is not of your making and you should not suffer for it even more.

This is indeed troubling to hear, the BDM rely on major component and equipment manufacturing from Daumann to support its efforts in defending the Federal Republic. If it hasn't been considered by the Corporate heads that this strike is a fundamental handicap to our operation efficiency then I have no choice but to turn to other vendors if need be but as a priority, the BDM will aim to develop and manufacture equipment by its own-self.

We genuinely wish that Daumann will reconsider its efforts towards a strike, but rest assured that the BDM is prepared.

We've understood that our house has been haemorrhaging its own blood, its own people, for near two centuries now. Yes, we are all bound by the past. Enfield is devoted to preventing the subversion of the Neimann state again - to the point where he would replace the state to guard it. While I share your concerns, mein herr, I cannot overstate the importance of Daumann to the Bundeswehr's efforts. It is Daumann Heavy Construction that manufactures the equipment and vessels that we field to defend the vaterland, and without such services that your loyal and steadfast company provides our nation will be at critical risk, even more so after the detrimental acts that we've been through as a people. Without equipment to field, I'm afraid a downward spiral is inevitable, and more losses will occur as a result.

I implore Daumann to reconsider the degree of this action, or to consider making an exception on the military's behalf so we may continue to uphold the defense of Rheinland. Should this be impossible, measures may need to be taken to ensure that the Bundeswehr is supplied and armed via other, potentially external means. We respect a healthy tradition of placing domestic products first so as to keep a firm line of supply and to allow the people to profit from the Military's necessary expenditures, and I am personally of a mind that this dramatic act may cause Rheinland to suffer even more financially.
