I'll skip the formalities, as this is by no means a formal communication. I'm a leader of a Colonial fighter squad; my name and exact rank are unimportant. See, I've been getting a lot of flak, and not all of it's from the Maltese, or from the Royalists. No, I'm talking about the kind of flak nobody can deal with - paperwork.

Our operations in the Taus are precarious at best, right now. And the thing is your boys aren't doing much to pick up the slack. I understand that. I understand your position in the region, completely and totally, and the diplomatic disaster you wade through every day. However, I was under the impression that, despite your unique predicament, you still counted yourself an ally of the Republic. Recent events have started to change my mind.

To get to the point, your pilots have been hanging around like a bunch of vultures every time we get into a little scrap with those damn Royalists. I know you're officially neutral in this conflict, blah blah blah, spare me the diplomatic bull; point is, your boys hanging around these battles makes things dangerous, awkward, and, to top it all off, we've been getting complaints that we're endangering IMG assets! Now, I'm a military man, and I'm fairly sure those assets are endangering themselves.. and I'M the one that has to deal with it!

Simply put, keep your damn men away from the action. It makes for a diplomatic disaster, it puts more lives at risk, and the grunts are losin' a lotta love over it. Capiché?

Jack Henderson, Operations Coordinator for the IMG speaking: I can understand your frustration. And what you request is what I keep saying... and repeating... and repeating when we brief our pilots about the messed up and totally ridiculous Tau diplomacy.

I can only say that I will request IMG pilots to remove themselves and keep away from any fighting that occurs between Gallics and Colonial forces. As much as I would prefer to be a real ally in these battles for freedom, we both know that this cannot happen.

There are talks with other Colonial groups at the moment and we hope to find more active ways of supporting the Colonial forces that are helpful and compensate to some extent for the forced stance of neutrality. I can keep you posted on secret Sky-P3 channels, if you are interested.

Also, feel free to tell IMG| wings to back off and make themselves invisible if you predict a diplomatic mess. That's much better than fixing the damage later.
