About a week ago, we had a notable shift in the Legion's chain of command, and given how I've been with my own command prior to said shift I'm patching this to all Legion forces across Liberty. This shift won't involve anyone's earned positions, though in the spur of the moment we have had veterans return from their retirement to see this new offensive through.
Officially, as of this notice, the following changes are in effect:
Starting from here out, I will be taking the mantle of Lord Commander of the Legion in addition to all the responsibilities and perks associated with it. I have plans that are already in motion, and I expect them to follow through.
Lewis DeMoss will be taking the mantle of my Executive Commander. Unknown face, yes, but he knows what he's doing and has proven an ample field commander. Expect most orders to come through him.
Sam Mason, our former Lord Commander, will be taking the helm of the Vespucci fleet as its Grand Admiral.
Fleet Marshall Markus Brass will be upholding his role within the Legion's main nerve center. The Legion can only benefit from his experience, so find where you're needed, Marshall. Plenty of places to choose from.
The Ravager will be continuing its role as the Vespucci guard dog under Grand Admiral Mason's directive.
Hesperia is to undergo a full overhaul, including the installation of more substantial defenses and mooring yards for Task Forces Warhammer and Gladius.
Expect new orders within the next week, Legionnaires. We're beginning a new campaign against the Republic, and I expect we'll need our best on their A-game. Keep your wits up, and if you're one of our warship commanders then you're going to love this new era of the Legion. Just remember what we're fighting for, who we're fighting and who we fight with. No matter the propaganda, we know who we are and why we are.

Just got off of a patrol with Legionnaire Horai, and it looks like the Liberty Security Forces, alongside Liberty Navy have dispatched a few hundred tonnes of floating junk. Miss Horai was one of the first pilots on the scene outside of the Station America in the Kansas system. If I'd had to guess it seems like they're preparing for a potential siege against our facilities here, in retaliation to our harassment of Chadwick station. Both of our fighters were under gunned for the three gunboats that were at the Liberty staging area. So rather than directly engaging in a fight, we decided to have a little chit chat, one of which I thought was fairly entertaining, though I believe Miss Horai drew tired of the constant bickering that came from the Captains of each Gunboat. Eventually we peeled off and returned to our various staging points.

David here just returning from a defensive patrol on the [HF]-HFBC-Unity and we had a friendly tag along Discolancer. The patrol was quiet at first until we approached America Freeport. We immediately had =LSF= Willow.Grove on our Radar and we knew the LSF Battle Cruiser wouldn't stand a chance. As the [HF]-HFBC-Unity approached the LSF Battle Cruiser opened fire prompting me to fire upon the Battle Cruiser to quickly and painlessly remove it from Kansas space. As the unity and our new friend arrived back at America Freeport, being the battle carried us some way from our original destination we had multiple enemy contacts on radar combined with damages sustained by the fight with the LSF we made the call to Dock onto America Freeport.
As ordered, I have acquired a Prosecutor fighter craft (callsign HF-Babylon) from Monterrey Base and completed my evaluation flight. I linked up in the Alaska System under the command of HFB-Incursus and we conducted a patrol throughout the entire system. For the most part the flight was rather scenic and uneventful. However, during our cruise to our final way point we were intercepted and attacked by a Liberty Interdictor Battlecruiser and is escort. The encounter did not go well for the brave but unfortunate vessel and its crew. After mopping up, we picked up what was left of the survivors as well as the pilots of the escort craft that were downed. After exiting Alaska, we proceeded directly to outpost Hesperia where we turned over 39 military prisoners to our forces on station. This completes my report.
