But now I understand. Whatever I wouldve said, my oppinion didn't matter anyway since its a paid thing.
Good to know. I wont bother anymore
Trying to incentivize a person to re-purpose a model with a unique style. Woe is me.
The guy who made the Iris got nothing from it, besides toxic comments on the forum.
Besides all this, he still makes an efford to cater to everyone.
I had legit feedback with explanation why and got told my opinion doesn't matter that much.
Do the math.

There's not a single ship that's well liked by everyone. There are more people liking the ship.

 I think this is a good indication that the model isn't good then if the majority agrees (which is extremely rare in disco) that it's not that great.

What I refered to and which was ofcourse taken out of context.
He wasnt paid to do it and just wanted to contribute something to this game.
There is no majority that dislikes Iris. Just a few people.
Alot of people were involved with its creation, GC faction members, GC indies, allies who have a techcell on it, random community members.
The only reason you currently dont see them ingame is the resize, which was confirmed to be a dev error.
It was a really decent ship. Some people might not like its design, but that is just a difference of taste.
And yes, the reason I dislike blossom is a matter of taste aswell, since I believe it looks too alien. The current blossom has less of that. It might even be fixed with as little as reducing the tentacle size so it doesnt look like a giant squid and more like a flower.
Because I know what this ship is trying to do but it doesnt work.
Let me explain why. The blossom refers to cherry blossoms most likely.
The 'petals' are too long and sharp to be blossom petals.
to me they look like tentacles or dragon horns.
