I send this message with great concern for our nation and our people. The instability of our government, which has been apparent for months, and the events that have resulted from it have reached their peak. The government as you know it will cease to exist in its present form. Remaining politicians and deputies of our once federal republic have withdrawn from New Berlin with the help of the Marinenachrichtendienst under Direktor Enfield's leadership to form a secular rebel force.
The imperialists who have long openly opposed the former Bundesrepublik have taken over much of the political power within Rheinland and will transform the rest of our nation within the next few months. These events have divided our country. The police, Daumann, and Kruger have openly spoken out against the establishing Kaiserreich, while the Marinenachrichtendienst has allied itself with the rest of the federalists against the very same system.
It is my duty to inform you all that the Marinestreitkräfte are also declaring themselves in favor of the Kaiserreich Rheinland.
Rheinland has long lost the course it once proudly walked. In an impulsive war of aggression with Kusari and the Gas Miners Guild, we have allowed ourselves too many victims who, contrary to the interests of the people, have been involved in a senseless war which ultimately bears witness to no success for Rheinland. In addition, there is the Omega-3 conflict, in which parts of the military clashed with the Bretonians, which almost led to another war with countless victims, all due to a misunderstanding of a treaty.
On behalf of the Oberkommando, I want to make it clear to you that the decision to turn our allegiance to another government does not stem from hatred against or megalomania. Our decision is motivated by the concern that Rheinland will suffer longer under a government that is incapable of solving its problems or bears the possibility to change in order to solve its problem.
It is moments like these that make it clear how difficult it is for those who bear the consequences to bring about change and at the same time show the weakness of our democracy.
I, therefore, call on all soldiers to recommit themselves to our state under our common new identity as Rheinlands Kaiserliche Marine.
Those who do not feel up to this duty will be relieved of their service and responsibility in honor. As former brethren and sons of our nation it is foreign to us to resort to ruthless political murder. Any soldier who no longer feels a part of our army, from this moment on, is being granted 48 hours of time to leave imperial stations or planets without an armed ship or any other sort of equipment that has the potential to harm and may join the cause of the federalists.
If we see you on the side of the enemy, you will be respected and fought with honor.
All soldiers of the Marinestreitkräfte and the Rheinland Military are urged to give federalist citizens, whether soldier or civilian, the opportunity to join Rheinland under new leadership before they resort to violence. Federalists should be given a chance to reflect if possible.
But do not see this as a sign of weakness, as we do not tolerate any form of violence against Rheinland, whether it comes from former allies or long-standing enemies. We will defend our nation.
