Why is the ship in the video semi transparent?

I know this bug.
Our ship looks transparent to us if we will engage cloak, but when it's already activated and we are still fading, we can cancel it, leaving us semi-transparent. Not sure how it looks like to other eyes. It could be only seen to ourselves perhaps.
