Short Biography: The Kinoshita family, a minor yakuza family in the service of Hogosha, has long been plagued by infertility and bad luck. Kumoko was perfectly fertile, to the joy of her parents... but uninterested in men. When Kumoko's father found out about her deliberate attempts to sabotage any marriage proposals she received from other prominent yakuza families, as well as her affair with one of her female bodyguards, he had the bodyguard taken, tortured, and executed, reserving a spot for his daughter to watch. That very night, Kumoko took a ship from her family's own hangars, dodged the defensive grid of New Tokyo, and escaped, being soon found by a small squadron from the Gen'an Golden Chrysanthemums.
Reasons for joining inRP: Kumoko experienced the horror of the Kusari underworld first hand. Her main objective is revenge against her family, by any means necessary. And the Chrysanthemums offer just that.

Short Biography: Hana was mostly unremarkable in childhood, having been born to a relatively middle-class family. She performed well in her studies and eventually developed a love for space and astronomy through it. She earned both her pilot's license and navigator's certification around the same period, though her love had always been as navigator over piloting. That changed on her second long-distance voyage. She still has no idea why, but the ship she served on, a civillian transport, was attacked and boarded by Kusari Naval Forces. While a few were spared, most of her crewmates were executed. The survivors were left to drift, where they were found by a small GC squadron.
Reasons for joining inRP: Hana wants to learn why her ship was attacked and to bring down whoever it was that attacked them, even if it means fighting the Kusari government.

Short Biography: A former KSP pilot and the daughter of a Kempeitai inspector. She grew up certain in the knowledge of the Kusari state's rectitude, and became practised at the everyday mental gymnastics required to navigate a world with such a patriarchal bent both professionally and socially. However, the main turning point came when she witnessed the treatment of political prisoners while assigned as a Kempeitai facility guard. Worse, she allowed herself to listen to the prisoners' pleas. Juri saw that a different way was possible.
Not only did she provide patrol timings for guard flights, but she helped a group of escapees commandeer a supply transport by posing as a 'hostage'.
Reasons for joining inRP: After helping a group of GC members escape, she can no longer return home. She prefers not to kill her erstwhile colleagues if she can avoid it, but the consequences for her family would be severe if she were ever properly identified. She will fight on their behalf even as they think her dead.

Short Biography: When I was a young teen, I started to hang out a lot on the streets. I was born and raised on New Tokyo and I eventually got caught up with the wrong people. We spent our time drinking and smoking, as well as being involved in robberies, drug and alcohol consumption, and violence. I didn't see myself as being involved in the underworld of New Tokyo; We were just a group of friends getting into trouble, being chased by the police. I’d go to school in the day, act normal, then as soon as I was back out on the streets, I was a different person. I was intimidating.
In an attempt to help get my life back on track, my parents sent me to boot-camp in an attempt to steer me toward joining the military. I left my friends, and my school, to humor them. During this time, I earned my pilot's license, basic firearm handling, and basic field repairs. Despite the knowledge I was obtaining, I feel I do not need to say I was not happy. Despite my misery, I completed the training. Upon returning home, I made it known to my family I did not wish to be the one to enforce the corruption of the government and I did not wish to allow the culture of male domination to continue under my watch in Kusari. My family were devastated; labeling me a failure, a disgrace. I was upset at hearing this, I thought my family would support me in what I was wanting to do. I never expected they would turn on me as they did. In my hurry to leave after seeing my family turn their back on me, I took their ship - a Drone. I left.
Once I had left the safety of Planet New Tokyo, I had no plans. I had nowhere to go, and no friends in the vastness of space to call on. Upon checking the supplies on the ship, I knew I had a number of days to come up with a plan. As the supplies began to run low, and I began to welcome the thought of death, I happened upon a small squadron. After some time and a lengthy discussion, the woman explained what they were doing - they explained their cause. This resonated within me, I felt hope that there was something more for me in the emptiness of space. I felt drawn to help... Which brings me here now.
Reasons for joining inRP: My family turned their back on me & I do not trust the government - but I do trust you. I owe you my life, and I will fight for the cause until death decides otherwise.
