Caught up with a lot of work at the station, Raul Golden was finally able to resolve all outgoing paperwork and teamwork coordination. Looking at his watch showing time and data, he yelled in surprise "Oh, no! Oh, no! Oh, no! Oh, no! I’m late. I’m late for a very important date. No time to say, “Hello” Goodbye! I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!" while moving past his colleagues on the way to his main ship "Neutrino" to move across Sirius.
Igniting the warp drive he activated quickly preset coordinates, until in blinding light to disappear from the space.
...Sometime later...
Corfu station's sensors were blinded by the sudden appearance of the wormhole, which came up and went away with a huge discharge in a visible spectrum. After they were able to adjust themselves a magnificent ship was identified belonging to a group of zoner engineers from Interstellar Beacon. Parking the vessel at a small distance, a small spacecraft emerged from its docking bay to bring the captain to Corfu station.
Moving past entrance while head turned to every direction to find the required meeting room, Raul Golden was able finally to succeed in his late arrival. He opened his speech with: "I'm sorry that I'm late, I have a major project going back home and I just could not leave it is not finished at least at the organizational level. I'm Raul Golden, a pleasure to meet you, everyone. I hope I didn't miss a lot."
The new guest searched for a place for himself while finding with eyes Doc and Jill, people he already was acquainted during medical courses. Slightly longer holding gaze at Christian, while leaning head to one side in remembrance of briefly contact before through neural net. Looking around he noticed many more new people, which he did know yet.
a pondering view felt upon the person who entered the room at last and least. after that man take a seat waldemar stand up, walks around the the table to the guy he never ever heard or saws before.
i am waldemar, waldemar vorderkeerke. nice to meet ya. we he points to pope wyrdmake are the pontifical delegation from baffin, but who are you? and way more important, ya sure ya didnt jumped into the wrong party?
Caught offguard, the young man with ginger blonde hair in his thirties replied back. "It is not exactly like we came without even invitation. We had a prior notification and the host of the party did not mind"
Giving a pause to gather thoughts together the man continues "I'm a leader of zoner engineers Raul Golden from a workshop Interstellar beacon at the moment standing in the crossroad between Bethelem station and planet Erie. Our gathered group is dedicated to research and development of hyperspace technologies as the main target, and we already have enough working prototypes to offer surveillance for plotting navigation across all Sirius in all variety and accuracy."
Smiling slightly, Raul has more and more determination in his voice with every next said word. "I can say that we are quite afar from any politic business, but as a leader even of a not related to it group, I'm obligated to be as wide learning and listening as possible, to be prepared for everything we could face, otherwise politics could bite us when we would expect less. You can, of course, say I'm too young for such matters, but everybody starts somewhere, and holding responsibility for a group of people and being not ignorant of his duties is what qualifies a leader. While age is just a small downside which would pass with a time"
Christian listened to Max and as he referred to Doc, Christian shot a swift look on him, it seemed he was occupied with his thoughts and wanted to start his part but Voncloud beat him to it. While Voncloud explained the fate of Gran Canaria, Christian drank up water in a coup and as Voncloud finished his explanation he left a glass on the desk a bit louder than should be, it was noticeable that is a sensitive topic to him. “Thanks for give up the explanations… It's very hard to hear.” As Christian wanted to give a word to Doc, someone interrupted the silence. It was a familiar face to him, as he remembered it had been an Interstellar representative, to whom he spoke several weeks ago. Christian slightly nodded to him.

Doc didn't have to say anything to the strange entry as Pope Waldemar beat him to it so during the exchange, he just watched and then figured out who sent the man the invite. He had also noticed Christian wanting to say something to him before the interruption. He held up a finger to "hold on a minute" while he addressed security.
"Mr. Golden, please have a drink and a seat. No disrespect but as most of us do not know you, I think you will learn much. I have a small home on Erie so I know of things well there."
He then turned to the station administrator, "Please, secure this area. Unless someone has an invite, they are not to enter. I do not want this turning out like my last meeting back on Canaria."
He then turned back to Christian. "I believe you were going to speak," thus yielding the floor to him.
Grabbing a drink, Raul moved to a free sitting place, but it was noticeable that he was slightly nervous, as he was sitting at the most corner it was possible. Noticing it on its own, he made himself placed comfortable, and with that worry started to leave him, as confidence in being met by the host of the party resolved his own internal demons.
Raul curiously looked around more attentively, trying to get a feel of people's personalities around him through the estimation based on their faces. After that he turned his attention to Christian, referenced by Doc to speak next and prepared to be listening.
As the Doc mentioned Christian and eyes turned to the person whom just been given the floor, Jill slowly slided a datapad to the Doc. This wasn't her place to speak even though she knew she had earned some trust among the attendees. No, she had attended meetings like this before and as a newcomer she knew not to get directly involved in this discussion.
"It's better to be quiet and appear stupid than to open your mouth and remove all doubt" is what her grandmother used to tell her. And those words have stuck to her like glue. With that thought in mind she just passed her notes to the Doc for she was sure that he would use them when needed or when he thought it would be right. Meeting the Doc for the job interview seemed like ages ago yet, what was it? Only a few months? Either it was the long workday at the hospital or that gin-tonic did the trick yet the time at MFE and working and living in the Zoner community already seemed like she'd been there for many years.
As she slided the datapad to the Doc and the quick thought passed she looked for his reaction. Even though she had complete freedom to basically 'run the company' she never even thought about pushing her limits. After all, this was Doc's dream and she believed in it.
"And it's always good to believe in something you feel is right" she told herself as she sat back and watched the discussion continue.
Martin after saluting everyone in the room, and presenting himself to all the newcomers, he went to the bar.
"A scotch on the rocks,please."
So he went to take a seat at the table, and started to listen Doc's points of discussion, and the discussion that was started between several Zoners.
"If I may, the loss of Gran Canaria was not something that the Zoners could prevent. That was the time where I worked for the Ingenuus, and the Ingenuus maintained a neutral status for a good reason, which obviously you can all understand. However I can understand all the frustration of losing a paradise and having to move to something , more like a Purgatory per se. However we cannot stand here and comment what's going on in the past, and think about the future. to start making plans about protecting Pygar where we missed with Gran Canaria. Easy as that. Feeling pity for Gran Canaria won't help us, but it needs to be a lesson from which we need to learn and start acting differently from before."
Then Martin stopped to take a sip from his glass and to take a small break from all the talking.
"And I'll be very honest with all of you here. You might hate me and my organisation, but I needed to make a call, in order to defend my workers at my best. The Bretonian Government gave Genesis, not one, but two Crecy "Destroyer"-Class wrecks. Are they in bad condition? Definetely. But nothing that cannot be fixed. Oddly enough they didn't have issues with us having them. You may ask, why I got them. The answer is simple. Ames is not in a place where is easy to be reached by our forces, and after the long time ago incident", looks at Max, "I decided that I cannot risk it."
After that, he looked at Doc, and continued his speech.
"So, Dr.Holliday, the Genesis is ready to supply Pygar with the technology needed to defend it. I had in mind some new projects that might fit this role. Thoughts about this offer, mr. Voncloud?"
Skarsi straightened in his chair as he listened to the gentleman from GRG speak then nodded his head in agreement. "I must agree with Mister Martin on some things. It is better to concern ourselves with how to make Pygar better and safer for those who emigrated as opposed to pondering on bretonian relations at this point." Despite his more militant disposition in some aspects, he was far from averse to peaceful things befitting the ever changing nature of discord.
"I'm sure at least some of you know well about the short-lived farcical 'Gran Canarian Army' that achieved little more than to give the Bretonian government a 'just cause' to further their actions planetside and in space. It is why, at least to my information, that there are few independent settlements left that arent monitored in some way by Bretonian law enforcement."
"Therefore utmost consideration should be given to managing relations so as not to engender a second exodus. I will not speak further on this matter, due to our distance from Pygar, except to offer assistance in the training of planetside security, should it be requested, and to lay an offer on the table to open a branch of the Discordian Disorder for those receptive to Eris' call on Pygar. "
Max looks over to Skarsi briefly sighing on the mention of the GCA, they have had disagreements with that group "The G-C-A, yea...they don't like fellow Zoners who don't fight, even Velvet, even me. Ah was part of the Black Kites, before that ah was in Lokria's lost cause fight. Ah've got land on Gran Canaria now, heck, even got Bretonia t' acknowledge tha' Gran Canaria is 'nother 'fficial name for it." They say in their Texan drawl "Called Ambrosia, but eh- yea this is bout' Pygar...Pygar is a different situation, we're all friendly with Corsairs. An' whilst Voncloud does speak for Pygar, ah don't see why not you can bring Discordian faith t' thuh planet, there's already a Buddhist temple ran by Administrator Koken" they say nodding over to Sun.
