Yea I'm not all too happy with proportions of the new reactor either. I'm still gonna tweak it some more and probably shift the engines around a bit to make some room for scaling that thing up without turning it into clipping galore like the original.
- Slightly Increased the volume of wings (mostly from front profile) as per balance team's request
- Shifted the engines out a bit to make room for scaling up the reactor without clipping, it's now comparable in size to the original
- Oldin has textures now, which means it's more or less done (bar some minor cleanup and double-checking a few things), so unless some community feedback or dev input results in a change, this can be considered the finalized look of the ship.
- Added quick kitbash (basically playing lego with pre-existing parts just to get the idea down, instead of building an actual mesh) of what the old loki remake could look like. The old one's visual design was quite subpar compared to the rest of the line, so I decided to deviate from the original a fair bit and push it more towards the existing one.
The Oldin looks excellent, and I vastly prefer your version of the Loki compared to the old one. Single drum/dual engine still makes it look like its part of the same shipline, but with less bits. Vanilla style.
To make it more distinct from the Oldin I'd recommend straightening out the wings so they're completely flat.
- Did a bunch of tweaks to Loki.
Main visible change is to the arrangement of the weapon mounts - Since the new balance of the ship will have a couple of variable slots, the gun mounts were rearranged a bit to allow for having symmetrical volleys regardless of which loadout setup players choose to go with.
There's still a bit of technical cleanup left to do, but unless some feedback results in a change, the visual side of things can now be considered final on both Odin and Loki.
