Hi Ell tee,
Heard ya took a bit of a hit while out on patrol. Hopefully LPI insurance covers missile damage otherwise that customised bird of yours is gonna be one hell of a repair bill.
Anyways, heard via the scuttlebutt that ya had an encounter with a battleship missile and weren’t doing the best. Just thought I’d check in and see how ya holding up?
If you’re anything like me your probably climbing the walls (figuratively speaking) and chomping at the bit to get back out there.
Don’t ya be worrying about getting yourself back up and running before ya ready. I’m pretty sure that the LPI has enough pilots that they can do with out ya for a while until ya mend up.
I myself had a little run in with a sabre flown by a ‘lancer called ‘Lilac’ so they got me on desk jockey duty for a couple of days while a head injury sorts itself out. Hell, with the amount of times I’ve had to use the ejection system recently I was due a bad one. It ain’t nothing major though so they should have me back on patrol by the end of the week.
Ain’t heard much from that ‘lancer friend of yours either come to think of it.
Anyways, see ya back in space when you’re upto it. Though I guess y’all be back in that flying desk ya call a battlecruiser first.

Greetings Hopper,
Thank you for contacting me, Hoppy, really nice to hear from you. For the time being, the least of my worries are the bills, I am more concerned about Olivia. She left to do some 'work', telling me she will be back in a few days, but you know me. I can't get her out of my head - I just hope she's doing alright.
Getting back to me, my condition at the moment is a rather crappy one as I haven't been able to move my legs since after my injuries. The doctors said it's just some minor damage done to my spine, and given enough time it will recover. They expect me to get better during the week, but I am still not seeing any difference.
Anyway, I don't blame the Captain behind that Battlecruiser for any of the events that occurred - it was a messy fight, and my positioning definitely wasn't the best; I should've accounted for the missiles being launched and took a different approach. Lesson learned for next time, I suppose.
I advise you to stay away from Lilac, Hoppy. Haze isn't a pilot you want to fight, it's best to ignore her and get some cover. I am happy to know your injuries are nothing too serious, and I will be very glad to hear from you again in space, hopefully soon.
If you see Elizabeth in space, tell Mark he has my regards.
