Iskra Outpost was constructed as the Coalition trade hub in the distant system of Omega-2. The station belonged to Volgograd Industrial until August 21, 827 when control over the installation was transferred to Sirius Coalition Expeditionary Corps.
Located in a stable orbit within the Kuressaare belt in Omega-2, the station has access to the valuable deposits of uncut diamonds. The extraction and shipping of diamonds have long been the primary source of income and remains that way even under the new administration.
