Lieutenant,

We received a distress call from the Omicron Tau system. An unknown cataclysm has occured there, resulting in the Matriarch and her escort to become trapped in the system.

Our last received transmission indicated that the Matriarch has taken refuge in one of the last intact structures in the system, the Maltese base known as Tortuga. Here she has located several weapons that can benefit our organisation, along with an previously unknown kind of artifact. So far all of our reports have indicated that all known jump holes to the Omicron Tau system have collapsed and we have no intel on the current nature of the system. You will go in blind, so be prepated.

Your mission is to find a way into the Omicron Tau system, locate Tortuga and extract the Matriarch. Retrieval of the weapons and artifacts are your secondary assignment.

For the first part of the mission, the entree into Omicron Tau, contact Navigator Nakai Hana. She is the captain of the experimental vessel Kiyomizu Jingu. The vessel's Yugami Drive is capable of creating a hyperspace breach with the ability to transport you to the O-Tau system. And Nakai is also the one experimenting with navigating the reaches of hyperspace.
