In contrast to our message previously conveyed in the Federal channels, it appears we were badly underestimating the value that the Bretonian Crown has put upon Inverness, and now our very freedom is endangered. They are not interested in bartering nor surrendering their claim upon the sector, no, their only interest is the vassalization of our people. Including our vast knowledge libaries and dangerous alien collections.
This will be a brutal and sacred war, and whilst we cannot immediately give anything more than monetary goods or some speciality weapons for compensation of collaboration, we can see to reinforcing the civil war efforts in Rheinland after securing our state.
We politely ask of you for assistance, we cannot spread our forces too thin, especially in light of our alien neighbours that patiently await for a crack. We ponder if it would be possible for the ALG organisation to perhaps reuse and restore a station that was once destroyed under pressure? Of course, as I said, the only immediate compensation we can offer is weapons and wealth. With the pressure that will inevitably occur, we will not have the time or guarantee that long term projects will complete.
Richter here. I'm going to have Delta squadron, responsible for security of our southeastern Liberty scrapping operations, reassigned to Valravn. It isn't Security Division's largest squadron, but it's the one that's nearby and I can spare. Stability is increasing in Bering and Texas, with Unioners being more preoccupied with developments in Rheinland, and Xenos seemingly also putting greater focus on other fronts.
We'll share what information we have on Bretonian fleet tactics, something we have experience with from the Omega war. From a strategic perspective, I have to say that I don't fully understand their motivation to harass you in your space. As far as I can tell, Inverness holds no resources, no habitable surfaces, and little strategic value. I would question the value in leading forces into a remote corner of space with little apparent value, and I question Bretonia's ability to due so while repaying what must be a massive amount of wartime debt.
In any case, we still haven't reached a peacetime accord with the Bretonian Crown, they have proven themselves incapable of diplomacy, and we have no issue defending your holdings against them - a service we are happy to repay after you have provided us with business and support over the years.
As for reusing a destroyed station, I'd forward that to the respective departments, but we will obviously need more details.

It is a great mystery to us as it is to you. We do not believe that they have the influence to overextend as such, without risking vulnerability with one of their strategic holds. Our blockades cannot hold forever, it may be of interest to plant mines down at the entries.
Regarding the remains of the destroyed Outpost, here is the neural data for you to investigate: #461447-0-461450, loc iw-b-56720-20, C6-N-Centre. Image 1 | Image 2
This station was previously known as Klaksvik Outpost, a staging ground for the Gaians to conduct their usual antics, now nothing more than melted steel and broken rock. This site was secured as an improvisional forward operation base for our carrier to keep vigilant eye on the nearby anomaly ever since we became aware of the gravitational shift. We do believe it to be of use if we were to properly re-establish it as a functioning station to act as a chokepoint, eliminating the worry for any back door approaches as well as providing a moderate staging point against the Bretonian Intelligence Service's station up north.
The feasibility of retaining the Gaian wreck as a strategic outpost will be dependent on the expulsion of Bretonian forces from the system. We don't have any intel on a Bretonian intelligence station up north, as you mention - truthfully, we don't really have much in terms of intel on the system. However, this could be a good testbed for our strategic weapons program; destroying the Bretonian garrison on one likely minor station could be a good way to test our capabilities to do what one might consider "cosmic damage" against enemies back home. We have a strategic weapons program for delivery in which a carrier ship uses redundant circuits to absorb EMP damage and retain course, with a payload which against a single installment would likely be a single major nuclear payload.
Any opportunity you provide to us to destroy Bretonian enemies, we will consider.
