First of all I'd like to thank all who had enough courage to send us their applications.
These people stepped out of the line and offered us help with running this mod/server/community and that means a lot. For some of them it's going to be a bit sad to realize they weren't chosen this time, but I hope all of them are wise and mature enough not to flame us for not picking them or leave this community or something like that. And I am very sure this is not the last time we are seeking for admins.
In sum we received 44 applications and decided to pick 5 new admins this time. I'd like to note that this is the first time we are going to 'upgrade' the admin team with so many new admins.
We investigated each of the applicants from different points of view and then made a poll. Each of us had 10 points which he/she assigned among the applicant he/she chose respecting the 3-1 x 2-2 x 1-3 rule (3 points to 1, 2 points to 2 and 1 point to 3 applicants). In the end we summarized the points and agreed on accepting the first 5 applicants. Fair and simple.
Vero - our first attempt to 'import' an experienced admin from other Freelancer servers. He might not have been here for that long but his maturity and Freelancer admin experience convinced us to accept him among us.

Not going to lie, I'm a little let down I didn't get chosen, but that's ok, there's always the next time, and I enjoy my fun time anyway! Congratulations guys, hope you're up for the tough job of being an Admin!

EDIT: Also, what about moderators, I remember in the initial post for requests from the people of Discovery that you said Admins and Moderators, what about those slots?

We started with the top priority - new admins. After it cools down and they get established, we'll probably revise the moderating team.
You mention that its the first time you upgrade the admin team...how many admins are you looking for, long term?
EDIT: Also, there seem to be a lot of people withholding votes rather than saying no....I think thats a problem, guys...I mean....say someone gets voted in, that you had doubts about...and it turns out badly, maybe a vote could have made a difference.

I meant it's the first time we do add so many people.

I think it's okay to vote later because it prevents voting 'no' just because you don't know that person very much .
