well, i voted "yes" for all anyway - the more the merrier, - but really, if the team is cooperating well and there is still a "good number" of admins around - it helps "fair" decissions. - i just HOPE that the admin team will work as a team of equals and there won t be lobbying.
i think its a good step into the right direction in general though. - if it doesn t work out... who cares... kick them and demote them all to starflier pilots:laugh:
I think a lot of admins are needed simply because the list of playable servers has shrunk so much and Discover is a big traget for hackers and spoliers to see.
Please take your responsibilities soberly is all I ask and remember the statues we have here in the US, "Justice is blind"--no favoritism.
The positions opened up not because of needs for players to tell other players what to do but to stop people abusing the game intentionally.
I love this idea..yet I keep punching holes in it...damn.
K, my most recent concern: "Giving people a chance"
Is this a trial period? I mean to say, unless they do something...horribly, horribly wrong..they're permanent, correct?
I dunno...I'm somewhat cynical right now...we have, in the past, had bad admins, and they were all voted in with huge support, and they probably did well for a good while, too.
It took an awful, awful lot, before bad admins got cut, in the past.
Oh, and, how long until they are accepted/rejected?
unfortunately i have had little to no experience with the nominee's.
i don't get the chance to get on (insert prefered Discovery social network program here) much and so i find myself outside of all the social circles i see here in Discovery.
i'm not sure i can make an educated vote on the matter, though i do think we need more admins. my limited social knowledge of Discovery makes me hesitate

Dregyon literaly just read my mind and then posted it. I don't know any of these people but I do know most of them are popular here and well known. (IDK if that is good or bad.) Is there a trial period?

I am not very sure, something between a month and two months.
There is no way to pick admins that everybody would be happy with. Actually it's impossible, it's always a compromise. But we could go on and on with these endless discussions...
