Short Biography: I was born on New Tokyo to wealthy parents. As a young girl I was continuously pushed to excel at all things. My early years were very uneventful with my parents bribing the school staff when my grades were slacking and getting yelled at when coming home. I knew I could just sit back and let my parents buy my way through life. Private schools are the best way for good connections, especially when you got money and good looks.
After graduation I took up some jobs here and there using those connections. I did some modelling jobs and did some voice acting for a short lived anime series. Attention was not something I was lacking. I had too much attention for my own good. I encountered some hogosha loonie who wanted to be my boyfriend and he was sending me creepy love letters and kept showing up at my door. I bought a gun to defend myself and one day I shot his face off. The Hogosha did not really like this so I went to Roppongi where I met you girls at the bar.
It is true men in Kusari believe that they own the place. I experienced this myself and I want to join the Golden Chrysanthemums for this reason. I am more than just a pretty face and I want to prove this. Show me how to use a gun properly and I will waste them all. I hope you have cardamine in bubblegum form.

Short Biography: Born as the only daughter and third child in an upper-class hotelier family that owns several properties across New Tokyo, Kaede grew up in a very sheltered environment with her father keeping her away from the family business and of the public eye. Gaining a rebellious tendency in her teenage years caused her to sneak out and secretly make friends with a group of girls who were very influential in her life. The girls slowly opened up Kaede to average life on New Tokyo but where originally their meetings and interactions were about day-to-day stuff they moved on to telling Kaede about authors such as Yuyu Matsuda and eventually more radical discussions about the government and corporations such as her families business. As time went by her opinions were influenced and radicalized into wanting to bring a better change to Kusari culminating into being convinced to steal her families yacht alongside her friends as a way to 'counter her oppressor'.

Short Biography: Although I was born and raised in the New Tokyo system, my parents are from Liberty. My father moved to Kusari for business reasons not long before I was born. Growing up, I faced discrimination twice over, being both a woman and a foreigner. Although my parents provided a stable household and was never lacking in basic necessities, this all changed when I moved out to live on my own. My father would have gladly provided financial help had I asked for it, but I was young and stubborn, determined to make a living without having to rely on my parents. The area I lived in was rife with crime, so I took lessons in both armed and unarmed combat from anyone who was willing to teach a woman. I knew about the Gen'an Chrysanthemums and what they believed in, but not much else about them. I believed that this was how I would spend the rest of my life, working multiple jobs to afford the basic necessities. However, on a trip to Roppongi Station for a lunch get-together with my father, I ran across some members of the Gen'an, and spent some time talking to them. After they left, I made the decision to leave my life behind and join the GC. I started using Cardamine, often having to go two or three days at a time with just one meal so I could afford it. After I knew that I was completely addicted, I packed up my belongings, left Planet New Tokyo, and didn't look back.

Short Biography: Born on Planet Honshu to a poor family of fishers, Our family was very hard hit by the collapse of the fisheries and stuck living on the fringes of Honshu society in extreme poverty with my sister, Sakura and our parents. We were forced to start working on the fishing ship from a very young age to ensure the family's subsistance. We were not able to afford even basic education but our parents taught us everything they could and even managed to aquire antiquated books that were instrumental in makeing sure we were not savages despite being so poor. One day, 3 years ago, both of our parents were washed away in a huge storm, leaving me and Sakura to fend for ourselves.... we made due until we could no longer maintain the ship and she floundered a month ago... My sister has been trying hard to seek assistance from Kusari officials however she has had no success to this day... Even all the factories on Honshu didn't even let us a chance at seeking the most menial of tasks for even pennies... anything to not die... We've had to... do things i'd rather not discuss to ensure we didn't starve... I fear my sister may have been cowed by these... Hence i'm done letting men have their way with me and seek revenge on Kusari for Abandoning us.

I’ve heard the stories. The GC are where the angry girls go, stepped on by the men in their lives and societies, fed up with the patriarchal regime, and masculine oppression. I’ve heard the stories of sexual assault survivors and abuse victims. The GC are where they go to find strength and family.
I am not angry. I am not a victim. I am not oppressed. I do not need a family. My bumbling brother and aloof sister are all the family I need. They are responsibility and trouble enough.
But I see the corporate greed of the rulers of our systems. I see fat, old men sinking the economy of a once great empire. We need a regime change. And we need one now. In my travels, I have seen no fiercer fighters, no stronger characters than the Golden Flowers of Kusari space. They fight like devils. Fearless, ruthless. They are the ones to bring about the change this empire needs.
I am not a fighter at heart, though I can handle myself if I need to. But I am a trader and a smuggler. I know the secret routes through space, the fastest flightpath to every jumphole. I can navigate my way through the densest cloud, and have memorized every patrol path of every faction throughout Kusari Space and the Sigmas. I can sweet talk my way through any checkpoint, and I can bargain with the best of them.
I humbly offer my services as a smuggler to the Gen'an Golden Chrysanthemums. Yours is a cause I believe in, and wish to aid in any way I can. If you will have me, I am yours for the taking.
Character Name: Kanami Atsumi
Short Biography:
Born to a Kyushu prostitute and a Manhattan businessman, Kanami Atsumi was abandoned first by her father before she was even born, and then by her mother 2 years after her birth. No one had time for a sickly, deformed baby. Atsumi was born with only one arm, and she was always weak and prone to illness as a child. A street vendor found the small one and took her into her care, raising her as one of her own. But Atsumi was always trouble, always rebellious, always dangerously independent. When she was 16 she left her adopted mother’s home, never to return. She stole a beat up trading vessel and fell in with cardamine smugglers, making friends with Rogues, Outcasts, Blood Dragons, and Golden Chrysanthemums. By the time she was 20, she had become an expert pilot, and had made something of a name for herself in her small sphere of the criminal underworld. One day, a woman at a Blood Dragon base told her she should join the Gen’an GC, telling her that they needed smugglers and traders with her skill set. A year later, Atsumi turned in her application.
