Can you please return the scoreboard? it functions as 'Spoiler' collapsed button literally for a reason (exactly for that)
people who dont wanna watch it, just dont click for the Score-Spoiler button. but why prevent others to watch it?
plus how can one tell now whos got it on the upperhand and what to expect?
Yes, because parking a Hasta, a Storta, and then another Hasta later on in a fight that contains mostly snubs, with 1-2 gunboats is also balanced.
Everyone is being a big unga about the event, get over it. Complaining about people being the big unga while covering for your own big ungas demonstrates a strong lack of self awareness. Non-event IDs are trading, which is strictly healthier for the faction that sells the commodity than participating IDs. Factions with caps are dropping them on factions without caps. Traders are thrusting away and combat docking. Snubs are combat docking. Ranseurs and Murmillos are combat docking.
Such is life in the Zone.

Can it be restricted to the IDs involved in the event? I don't know if this is possible.
But then there would be a lot less trade ships in general. If you stop a shipment, they suffer the penalty of losing like 10 mil, can't resume immediately, and it sets back that side back for a bit.
Perhaps it could be linked to attacking ID? If you shoot a ship down using one of the event ID's it could pay a bounty...?
I have a Pull Request that should resolve this by allowing CombatEvents to use TradeEvent IDs as a valid Target for the CombatEvent itself. This would make it so that ships doing the trade portion of an enemy side rewards CombatEvent point / payout for the appropriate IDs.
Examples
Corsair / Outcast killing a DSE ship doing the Cryer TradeEvent
Corsair / Cryer killing a Zoner doing the Outcast TradeEvent
Outcast / Cryer killing a Samura doing the Corsair TradeEvent
Would all reward the player who got the kill if the CombatEvent is set up to do so after the code is implemented.

I dont see why other factions cant join in on the trade part of the event
Others can join in on the trade part of the event, and have. I've personally seen Zoner and Samura doing the Corsair / Outcast side of the event.

I also think those trading as Corsair, Cryer, GMG, Outcast IDs should gain more of a bonus, than the normal traders, to promote activity on those factions.
The prices still seem very low for a risk of losing 15million credits, which i think is putting off a few players.
There is a bonus for the main IDs that are involved in the event via the return commodities that were added.

How is it biased towards the lawful side when it's two factions with only gunboats against two factions who both have capitals? The answer is that it's not.
