Freelancer community. As you know, i like to search and destroy........no, find things that are left unnoticed, misbalanced or simply overlooked by mistake. Or not by mistake, in any case i will ask for your input and thoughts here as these things should not be left the way they are, for BALANCING purposes.
I have a new SINGLED out scenario for you and this time it is the:
INTERLOPER - LANE HACKER GUNSHIP
Without further adue i believe it has been treated unfairly. As an example we have the Rogue Gunboat - Hellhound with following stats:
Gun/Turret Mounts: 0/6
Base Armor: 95000
Cargo Space: 400
Power Output: 40000/400000
Batteries/NanoBots: 290/290
Turn Rate: 34.38
Response Time: 0.461
Equipment Mounts: CM CD
Then we have the Liberty Gunboat - Defiant with following stats:
Gun/Turret Mounts: 0/7
Base Armor: 95000
Cargo Space: 400
Power Output: 40000/400000
Batteries/NanoBots: 290/290
Turn Rate: 35.81
Response Time: 0.48
Equipment Mounts: CM CD
And finally we have the 3rd LIGHT POWERCORE major Liberty house Gunship, Lane Hacker Gunship - Interloper
with following stats:
Gun/Turret Mounts: 0/6
Base Armor: 80000
Cargo Space: 320
Power Output: 40000/400000
Batteries/NanoBots: 290/290
Turn Rate: 41.25
Response Time: 0.461
Equipment Mounts: CM CD
From this we see they match gun count( excpt LIB 7 ), they match powercores, their response time is balanced, turn rate is balanced ( a little in favor of LH ), BUT, the Hit Points of the Hacker gunship are severely limited, to a point no one uses it EXCEPT for RP purposes.
Point 2.
I believe that RP and lore wise Lane Hackers are at least as competent as Lib Rogues who scraped off the materials to build the Hellhound. It would be safe to asume then,they are at leastas competent to build a hull as strong as Rogue scrap materials ( NO INSULT MENT AND NOTHING AGAINST ROGUES, I PLAY THEM AND I LOVE THEM. ONLY FACTS )
Since Hackers by some miracle havent produced their own Cruiser in the past, it is of my opinion that they should be given a fair fighting chance with what they have, and Interloper so far, isnt one of those chances. If a faction does not use Cruisers ( and dont say Storta please, is one of the MOST LORE factions in game ), they should at least have decent stats in ships they DO USE.
Also Bounty Hunter Gunship - Bottlenose with 75.000 HP isnt a good counter argument since Hunters also have access to Gunboat - Orca, which is pretty darn good.
To summerize, help us balance this part out as well, try to remember the last time you fought an Interloper, or saw it fly for other reason than RP.
My proposition is to buff its HP to 90.000 and reduce Turn Rate to 38.25. Or whatever agreement we reach, but something obviously needs tobe done with it.

I am not realy a Gunboat Player, but i have to say the LH Gunboat looks Pretty Nice. but you are right the Fact that it haves Less Base armor makes it not as good as i should be. that's Probably the Reason why I saw most Lane Hackers that I met in Gunboats using the Tridente Outcast Gunboat. i find that sad then the Lane Hacker one haves Style. so its mostly an Choice of Style over Substance when you Fly the Lane Hacker one, or you are an PvP Badass that dont needs an Eaqual Base Armor.
