Members log every now and then and as @Teerin mentioned in the 2nd post, we're making a very slow "comeback", so to speak. You can find the recruitment thread here.
Due to apparent interest, we are in the process of getting off the ground again. This is an evaluation phase which will see how feasible it is, but we are hopeful, which is probably a better perspective than when we first started eight years ago - and that lasted a while. Our primary threads have all been updated. Please consider our recruitment thread if you'd like to take part - RP, PvP, shipping, etc. focused people are all welcome. As is any feedback here.
We've always been a mainline UC faction -- not too lawful nor too unlawful (particularly in contrast with both of our predecessors), and we will be continuing as we had in the past, before the Minarchy was put in place. With respect to the Minarchy (and especially until that is more fully developed as a concept), we currently have representation in the Gallic government for the Minarchy, although we had had that previously under the old united Royal government.
As the Corse (as I'm told) aren't the Minarchy themselves but merely a heavily invested backer, we might roleplay them the way we have with some of our front companies. As a player group we are also in communication with Lanakov who is a member, in case adjustments need to be made. I'm also open to any advice you might have @Markam, given my time away, so feel free to reach out over Discord if you'd like.
I do always enjoy seeing a quasilawful faction getting some activity. AFC's been gone for ages btw, you can probably just remove them from your diplomacy.
I'm also looking forward to seeing how relations pan out between UC and Natio Octavarium, considering our tangled diplomacy. Should be fascinating to see it unfold.
AFC worked hard to get where they are! I'll probably leave them on until the next page update, for old times' sake.
And yes; I recall that there were a few interesting encounters when NO briefly resurged a few years ago. I'm excited to catch up on where you guys stand in the current political climate.
