The first day in the new unit went well we had good action, I met with two members in Hokkaido ( >BD<Kano Kamiyama and >BD<Susanoo) on a very ordinary day we went on patrol but unfortunately a Kano Kamiyama left us because of personal problems, I continued with Susanoo who was in the gunboat. We continued patrols but in particular nothing happened until we got to New Tokyo, we ran into Frelancer who didn't respond to our calls and without any reason opened fire on us, we reacted quickly where we damage the attacker but he died from his own weapon. We continued our patrol in the hope that we would have more action but unsuccessfully, we arrived in Shikoku where I completed my patrol as Susanoo continued on to Chukogu.

Today i have a good patrol interaction since i was stationed in Shikoku i started patrol there, as soon as i started , my scanners shows an ship who was stationed in system well it was a Samura miner who was mining in the system, he tried to run but i caught him, after giving him a offer to pay to Dragons cause a fine of 10 million credits, i was surprised that he accepted, he didn't show hostilities towards me so i decided to let him go. The visual logs and blackbox will be. provided.

After patrol i head it to base for rest, later that day another patrol in Shikoku well we got information that there is some activities in system so i decide to check it out, i head to the same location where i spotted Samura ship and there it is, as i was expected two ships, one Samura and other Universal shipping ship gajin came to our land to become rich, i intercepted them as always give them a fine for mining in that location well they both payed, well after some interrogation a Gen'an vessel (GC-Kirisame) approach, providing me backup in case those two open fire on me, Gen'an started interrogation but suddenly Samura ship making a run, i stopped him and manage to destroy it since he didn't cooperate, then we return to Universal Ship (gajin) who was interrogated by another member of Rose Dragons (>BD<Izanagi) and Izanagi decided that Gajin is not welcomed here and should be destroyed, we opened fire and destroy the vessel, later i ended my patrol at Kinkaku-ji station.

Today was rather eventful, but I'll leave a portion of the events to Kano-san, as they earned honor this day. In my part, I demonstrated our civility as samurai to a veteran police officer (RKS|-SV-Bokken) and my two companions at the time, Tokugawa-san, and again, Kano-san. We talked for some time and he did not seem to care much of our cause or who we are. Despite that bit of spitting at us, I decided to prove to him and subsequently all he encounters in the future that we are not monsters, and we do not kill without purpose.

This man, Sugimori-san, didn't give effective reason for us to destroy his vessel. He's a displaced veteran police officer whose only desire late in his life is to ride off into the sunset and make a better life for his daughter as he prepares for retirement. It's rare to encounter an enemy of ours who doesn't act hostile on sight, so we gave him a chance to speak his word. At the end of our talk, I elected to donate to him a small fortune of my personal credits. I'm concerned by how he mentioned that a lot of the other officers in Kusari are indeed like him. This proves that the Kusari government does not value its veterans highly, and that there are plenty of dejected others like him. Despite being on the other side of the fence, we fight FOR Kusari. We fight for the right of people like this to be treated fairly as a respected officer of the law. This is the kind of person we want to prove that hope lies with us. If we've got a chance to talk it out rather than fight, to show someone on the other side that we are honorable warriors, not senseless killers... we should take it.

An ancient Daimyo once said that it's a waste of energy to fire on someone who could be talked out of it! But of course, feel free to light up anyone if we don't have a choice in the matter. Let's back up our honor with our strength!

Today, a meeting between the Gallic "Maquis" Liberation movement and the Blood Dragons took place in the Tau-53 system near Lapalisse Base. Just as the meeting was scheduled to take place however, a wing of Imperial Navy fighters moved to intercept and destroy the Blood Dragon group on approach. With the help of a small Maquis fighter wing our fighters were able to fend off and destroy the Imperials on approach. The question of how they knew about the meeting remains unknown. This report is being routed to command for investigation.

The Gen'an Cell based out of Aniu called for help in New Tokyo today, they were ambushed by a large Imperial Navy force. I couldn't count specifically how many craft there were, but it was enough to overwhelm the Gen'an wing in question. Unfortunately, strong ion interference mixed with constance enemy reinforcements prevented me from saving any of the Gen'an personnel. I survived, along my way back to Kyoto I ran into one final Imperial pilot. There was a brief word exchange before I shot him down as well.

Lots of close calls today, hopefully my ship will be ready to go when need be.

Running a new route into the Sigma cluster in place of absent pilots, nothing unexpected or unheard of except for one encounter with some Corsair Zealots in Sigma-17. These weren't the same bandits I'd been told to expect, so I decided to remain at a safe distance and observe them. An alien signature was de-cloaked as they decided to make their first attempt at attacking me. With their attention and efforts taken up, I remained as I was.

The alien craft was destroyed by the party of Corsairs, and their attention turned back to myself until another stray vessel - this time a pirate - took the bulk of their focus. The pirate's nationality and "allegiances" were apparently enough to keep him out of the Corsair's grasp. The ship was called "Vile.Scorn." I've never seen a ship quite like it, but apparently, it's a collective of Rheinland-Rebel-made craft for the same purpose - plunder.

With the pirate explained, the Corsairs finally committed their attention to me. I showed them no disrespect, but following a few insults and threats, I was exactly where I figured I would've ended up in the first place. The first one who attacked me was the one who insulted me, he was quite full of his heritage, but he wasn't quite good enough to follow up with his threats.

The second was much more humble, or at least it seemed so. But he wasn't much better than the first. Their reinforcements started to flood in afterwards, I made my escape back to Tohoku.

This "Taurus" clan of Corsairs consider us guilty by association with the Golden Chrysanthemums, they tie it all down to their fued with the Outcasts - far fetched as it might be. Be careful if you run into these zealots alone.

Our associates in the Gen'an cell are getting more rash by the day. This is the third time now they've attacked in over their heads, if they keep this up; there won't be many of them left for us to save. Two KSP fighters were seen on one of the tradelanes connecting to Planet New Tokyo. The first Gen'an pilot was flying a bomber into combat against a State Police fighter - it did not end well for the Gen'an.

Another fighter came to his aid shortly after, the second Gen'an pilot attempted to sell him some sort of drug called "Shige". I haven't heard of such a substance before, but whatever it was the policemen were interested. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you view it - the policemen couldn't put forth enough money to satisfy the Gen'an pilot. I was dragged into a fight against the KSP officer who shot down the first Gen'an pilot. Fortunately, I was able to dispatch him quickly, but not before a Hogosha fighter appeared out of nowhere - killing the second Gen'an pilot and the other police officer. I don't know what he was doing, apparently he needed to take revenge on one of the policemen for "stealing his farm" as he put it. Whatever the case, he did not survive when he turned his guns on me.

I forward the patrol report of my first day in the unit. Alongside our Shogun sensei (>BD<Ubukata Tsuya) I patrolled across Kusari, for the most part it went uneventful, however in Kyushu we intercepted an Ill-de-France Shipping vessel which seemed to smuggle this gallic drug called NOX. As we have already enough of the maltese intoxicating Kusari's youth with cardamine we demanded them to drop the cargo, but the vessel failed to comply and we had to neutralize it.

Later on we met a Gen'an Chrysthanthenum vessel (GC-Yukiusagi) and escorted it to Bretonia and back, they were on a logistics mission for the GC. During this fellow dragon (>BD<Shunsuke Takausagi) came by and supported us on our escort mission, it went quite uneventful with exception of an encounter with a Gallic Royalist, with swift words of our shogun we convinced the gaul to don't dare any foolish attempts and we proceeded with the escort.

Else there is nothing much to report, with exception of a Freelancer commanding a Bustard under the Codename "NX-01", which was quite suspiciousely curious with the questions, we let them tag along. and had chatterings, eventually they offered us to sell survey data and intel of systems for our vessels, jumpdrive coordinates... I will leave this decision to our dear Shogun to decide. That is all from me for now.
