From:Lionel Boucher To:Gaians that assisted in Orkney Subject:Technology exchange
Congratulations - you helped avenge Gaia in Orkney, it wasn't easy, but you did it! I am sure the former Enclave villains will remember your actions for decades to come.
We couldn't defend the liner our forces took control of ahead of our combined forces, but no matter - as you saw our heroes are willing to give their lives when it matters, and the operation was a success, in large part thanks to you.
Since we bled together for a common goal and fought side by side, I cannot but send my regards for the incredible technology you possess that was giving The Gallic Navy immense trouble during thew hole operation. You seemed to have outperformed our fighters in combat confrontations, your Anaconda and Panther ships especially were very impressive in taking down the Royalist villains.
I am so impressed in fact that I propose this - we would be willing to share our technology in exchange for yours . The whole is greater than the sum of it's parts as they say - I believe we could improve both sides if our engineers got together to combine our respective technologies, and we are willing to share ours.
The history books show that our predecessors have been close allies, and I believe our heroic efforts in Orkney more than revived that friendship. You have certainly earned our trust be willing to die by our side.
Let me know if you would be interested, and the extend and ships you saw in Orkney that peaked your interest.

Mr.Boucher,
Our victory in Orkney will surely create waves that will send ripples through the people of Gallia. With any luck we may be able to convince the people that our threats are not to be taken lightly. I do believe you are on to something, Gaian technology is geared to maximum efficiency and Maquis technology is probably in a similar vein if maybe for different reasons. We have spent the last 10 years perfecting our fighter designs to specifically combat both the Royalist's XJ-3 "Lynx" as well as Armed Forces B-1290 "Templar". I believe your pilots could find good use of our ships.
I see no harm in a mutual exchange, at this time I believe snub craft (and associated equipment) will do nicely for the time being. In the future we can discuss the leasing of a Gunship or possibly one of our Cruisers as operations see fit. Additionally, if any of your pilots are interested in a Gaian Engine upgrade they are welcome to them, it should help slim down the cost of fueling your ships a fair bit.
We are in agreement
Oui - Orkney has shown that we are not exactly ready for direct head to head confrontation against The Royals and people they control. Bolstering each other's hit and run capacity should indeed be a priority, our respective snubcraft flying side by side did have the most success.
Our people are already cooperating frequently on our respective bases in Tau-31, Edinburgh and now Orkney. We will simply give a formal go-ahead to our women and men to provide your people with access to several of our signature MJ-4 "Stellion" Very Heavy fighters, and let them know they are free to combine our respective snubcraft technologies.
We can discuss sharing Gunboat or Cruiser class vessels, or even one of our de-commisioned battlecruisers, should your side be willing to invest in repairs that we can't handle. We would be more than open to that in the future. However, due to the nature of our frequent joint operations currently, I would leave that to individuals and requests for specific ships on case-by-case basis.
