Admiral Vaillant already knows me. To all those who do not know me yet personally, I will introduce myself. I am Grand Admiral Golanski, the commanding officer of the Order Overwatch. I am personally liable for any diplomacy between the Gallic Union (back when it started, it was just a Confederacy) and The Order. I wish we were personally able to help you more with repelling the Kusari onslaught. However we were tied down with troubling developments down in the Omicron region. In a distant system in Omicrons, we had charted and explored a star system which would not be something out of ordinary if it weren’t for one thing… Libertonians got to it first, and had deployed the newest type of gate to reach us.
As of now Liberty Navy is bogged down in its own inefficiency caused by bureaucracy, lack of knowledge concerning local territory and unexpected threat that they had encountered in-system. I understand this threat may be potentially related to the Nomads, however hostility of most officers stationed in “Nu” as it is called by both sides prevents any permanent research detail to investigate the situation properly from the Order side. We are limited to incursions and obtaining info from sympathizers which leaves a lot to be desired given Liberty’s own inadequacies which cannot be blamed on those particular individuals. Liberty is not a threat at the moment, but they are too close to home nonetheless. The very same gate that was used to link Liberty reinforcements to Poole is suspected.
In response, we have reinvigorated the surveillance program on the Great House of Liberty, renewed our attempts to subvert their developments in the region by covert means, as well as turn their agents to our side wherever possible. As far we are aware, not even our own sympathizers in their ranks know about our involvement. Our most recent series of probes and reconnaissance flights had discovered something interesting that should also raise an eyebrow within your own community. Understand now, I am revealing the existence of a system that is not marked on regular star charts. It used to be The Order’s primary facility while we still served Liberty’s “deepest darkest” which was three decades ago. Both us and Liberty Navy call the system ‘Alaska’ and their regime enforces draconian restrictions and shoot on sight protocols upon the entire star system.
This guncam was gathered by our most recent series of spy satellites and force reconnaissance flights into the region. What you see is the Juneau shipyard, which prototypes various vessels for Liberty Navy and Liberty Security Force before they can be passed for mass production at their primary facilities in Virginia and New York. I understand that our mindsets are similar: we deal with tech thieves with highest severity permissible by our internal regs and laws. I believe you value and protect your own edge as much as possible. We are unaware of the identity of this craft, but it is undoubtedly of Gallic origin. Most likely a Valor-class.
What you do with information is up to you but keep in mind. Should the Gallic state be ready for any diplomatic repercussions related to penetrating Liberty’s highest security sectors, we are able to provide base of operations in Omicrons, caches for fuel and equipment you need along the way together with an angle to enter and exit without being seen if you want to take a look for yourself. Be advised, getting that close to Juneau shipyard is near guaranteed detection and fighting your way back might prove difficult.
Outside of this, we are preparing to launch a new shipment of technology crucial for detection and containment of the subversive sub-species of the Nomads, the ones we call “Incubi”. Right now, we do not possess necessary docking clearance to Gallic Intelligence’s own installations and the convoy will be redirected to installations under Naval authority until necessary permissions are obtained. Previously we used to train and equip advanced Confed police task force due to their ubiquity and before them the Council Navy as it was the widest reach of The Order at the time. However with their dissolution and presumed re-assignment to Navy and Intel, we are ready to focus our efforts on Union’s new government agencies. We want Nomads gone from Gallia just as much as you do and with a zeal you will find nowhere else in the Sirius systems. Respond to us when you are able.

Grand Admiral Golanski,
As for a soldier you are talking way too much. Have you ever considered changing to a politician path? I am Director Antonin de Lusignan of the Security Bureau.
Perhaps your help in our war with the Empire of Kusari would have been helpful but yet we prefer you to do what you supposed to do - fight the Alien plague, and not interfere in political conflicts between Houses. Yet, the information you share about this recently discovered system is intriguing. Shameful that the native inhabitants of Omicrons didn't manage to reach this system first. But what's done is done, oui?
The discovery you made in so-called Alaska is not a discovery for us. We know about the hostage they have there, therefore your information is useless for us. You understand the basic principle of our philosophy: what is ours - remains ours. Our warship in hands of such fools as Libertarians is a shame for us and this hurts my heart worse than a knife put in it.
Your offer to share some technologies with us is intriguing, but why do you expect us to allow you to come to our secured installations, where the masterpieces of technologies are getting created? Do you pretend there is an alien plague in our house? Do you have any evidence? The only one case was wiped out in Brittany about a year ago. Do you remember combat with Battleship Charente and her cohort? The infected traitor was wiped into dust alongside her allies.
So, Grand Admiral, do you have something worthy to offer?
Director Lusignan. It is good to make your acquaintance at last. I prefer, at least initially to leave no thing unspoken to avoid future misunderstandings. Your preference for more laconic protocol has been however, noted and acknowledged with no offense taken. Unfortunately most Sirians see us as merely alien hunters, wherever The Order had been founded as bulwark against threats not only from outside but also from inside of humanity in situations where democracies and other weak minded regimes in Sirius are found lacking in resolve to deal with. Nowadays it’s mostly Outcasts with their DNA altering chemicals and various subcultures of theirs that elevate Nomads to some misguided ‘divinity’.
The ‘Libertarians’. I believe you were able to account for any losses, though I doubt your forces were able to determine the exact location of this piece of Gallic property. If you had been perfectly aware of its whereabouts and gathered a level of intel on Alaska that equals our own databases, credit where credit's due, Director.
Our request is perhaps misguided in choice of words. What we ask in specific terms is to have surface level access to your installations. Ability to dock, visit non-classified, non-critical sections of your bases, drop our cargo and depart in a timely manner. We have no interest in gaining entry to areas that are accessible only to authorized government forces. Relying on a third party is a bureaucratic hell in the waiting. This may save lives, on both sides if the nearest friendly dock is all the difference between death and living to fight another day. Best protection against Nomads is prevention. Already infected individual is beyond help and yet another vector to create more subversive agents in your ranks. Therefore I offer to share our technology that is able with absolute certainty determine whether you deal with a human, or a Nomad puppet. Within Order-controlled areas, such tests are carried out on each and every soldier and visitor on a monthly basis.
The devices are cheap, simple in construction and derived from standard medical equipment, but had been finetuned over the course of nearly three decades to do one particular task: confirm biological changes related to presence of, or modified deliberately by a Nomad incubi within a host body. Our expertise allowed us to take account for false positives such as regular DNA treatments developed by current medical technology. It’s practical for us and you. There will be no need for aggressive Order presence in Gallia beyond mundane activities such as diplomatic envoys, convoys and shore leaves if your Bureau can keep Gallia clean. We would naturally still maintain vigil in less patrolled sectors as an extra layer of security in case there are no elements of GSB and Navy at hand to deal with immediate threats. In the end I do not care who kills the alien or other deranged threats to the human population, so long it is done.

Director Antonin de Lusignan. My callsign is Valkyrie and I serve in The Order’s Commissariat with the rank of Inquisitor. With authorization of the High Command, I have new information to bring to light that should not be delayed.
A lone Maquis pilot that went too far into Kusari had been interrogated by The Order. We acquired some concerning intelligence regarding Nomad activity among ranks of what to us look like Enclave personnel. Unedited, unfiltered read-only report filled in by the Maquisard will be forwarded as attachment. After familiarizing yourself with the content of the transmission, we require your assistance in identifying the command and crew of battlecruiser Vatan, as well as any individual that fights alongside it.
In case they had made their way to Gallia, it is our hope that Union can apprehend these individuals before the Nomads infiltrate and multiply at your own home. Should they remain at large in Sirius space, we require any information you are capable of sparing from Union, Confed or Royal databases that can help us in bringing justice to these Nomad thralls. From my side, I will continue to press for any information this Boucher persona can provide on the Nomads.

Grand Admiral,
You are right, the weak regimes of Sirius are incapable to deal with the menace of such scale as these the so-called Nomads. Being dragged in endless discussions and other circles of bureaucrat hell, they are rather harmful to efficiency than helpful. The Outcasts are nothing but miserable mutants, and their cults are just yet another proof of their marginality. Their sentence is simple - death. The Seigneurs command it, and so it shall be done. Perhaps, one day Malta will become a ball of glass full of raging radiation, just like Leeds. At least that glassing would be a fair and welcome one.
Yet, we have decided to not allow you to docking and mooring with our installations for the moment of time. You are simply lacking the trust of mine and the Seigneur responsible for the National Intelligence. Nevertheless, your wish to share infected detection technology is intriguing in which we are certainly interested.
Cordialment, Antonin de Lusignan
Agent Valkyre,
I was hoping to have a vacation on Planet Orleans but seems not in this life. Nevertheless, we have the work to do: this ship, the Vatan, didn't belong to the Royal Enclave and never been part of its fleet. There are no reports about this ship's activity within known Gallic space, however, there are many charted but unexplored systems where alien scum may hide, waiting for a moment to strike. As for the information - if the Seigneurs allow, the information about the Vatan will be shared.
As for this Bouchet... The crimes of Maquis are numerous and hence he must be transferred to the Law Authorities of Gallia for justice. You are to bring this individual to Nimes Station in Languedoc, special docking clearance will be given for this case.
While I am disappointed by the decline, nonetheless I fully understand and endorse your decision as your own sovereign right. Perhaps another time, when Seigneurs are fully convinced of our usefulness to the Union. Our offer is not retracted. Tech will be shipped to Union’s military port instead under Marine Nationale Gaulose’s supervision in this case. I will arrange for transportation to happen sometime this week. Expect Liberty ‘Bison’ or ‘Mastodon’ class under Order flag - quickly re-reading your laws, I believe merchant ships made by the ‘Libertarian’ hand are not an issue. Logistics and schedules in Edge Worlds are a finicky thing with Nomads in every direction so excuse my vagueness.
Vatan
Feelings are mutual, our work is never done and our vigil: eternal. I learned to value even a mere act of stretching one’s legs and breathing fresh non-recycled air at a cold frontier world or busy civilian Gallic starport. Your info on Vatan is intriguing. Ship’s dated, perhaps predating the Wars. May explain why Nomads invested so heavily in bringing this vessel operational to modern day standards through growing their bioforms inside. There is clearly no point looking for this particular hull within Gallia's core worlds which by itself narrows our search pattern to Tau and Bretonian frontier. Thank you, Director. We will speak on this subject again when one of us gains more information.
Case of Bouchard
I also took over Miss Valkyrie’s files, since she had been sent for an assignment to verify security in the area in question where Maquisard had been spotted. Unfortunately, that pilot was interrogated, but not captured. The flight leader assessed the situation on the fly and decided against bringing this pirate onto our stations proper. We’ve already been aware of certain cleverly disguised volatiles which had been utilized by their organization during the Second Gallic War. One of the leading causes why we never bothered to speak to them in the first place - Council was leagues more sophisticated and civilized. Instead, the wing leader decided to play ball and gather intelligence after relieving Bouchard of likely ill-gotten Sirius Credits as a fine. Possibly robbed a Kusarian or something along these lines.
Scans revealed in a post-action report indicated that even if we desired to attempt taking him dead or alive, Boucher’s ship was equipped with an expensive escape mechanism that might have amounted to even quarter of the ship’s overall worth, not too far behind leading producers in Sirius. All we would have achieved there and then would be to piss him off and terminate his usefulness as a source wherever his allies would have locked onto his beacon and recovered him. I believe you must know this frustration well. He is certainly someone important within their ranking structure, perhaps even a cell leader. I share the frustration with you, it's the aces and masterminds that are hardest to bag and tag, wherever rank and file low-tech pirates who know nothing of importance fill up the cells.
Any Maquis that surrenders or otherwise gets captured by The Order by any means will be sent gladly to any location of your choosing free of charge. We do not take kindly to useless prison population eating into rations of honest working men and women. Food is scarce here as it is.

Grand Admiral,
Unless it's Liberty-origin military crafts like their fighters, gunboats, or above - you are fine to get into Gallia on these Bisons, Mastodons, and other logistics vessels. Make these deliveries to Avallon Fortress in Burgundy. Our logistics corps will spread these devices for research and tests on our respective facilities.
This ship is indeed commissioned long before the invasion to Sirius, but the information is restricted and cannot be shared. However, I believe this ship is hiding somewhere in the Taus rather than Bretonia or Gallia. I will be waiting for news regarding the Vatan.
What a pity that some Maquisard has ran from the Order operatives. At least we know these criminals will be delivered for justice if you capture another of them.
Yet another one, I am afraid. Although ironically enough, it isn’t actually Order’s chassis. The Hellhound is not found on any lists kept by us, past or current yet there are also other options. My take is that they stole or salvaged some Corsair piece. Someone important from before my time had a ‘brilliant’ idea to sell out our most treasured instrument of war and co-develop a carrier/super-heavy raider on the basis of Osiris chassis. It was back in the day when Legate dreadnoughts weren’t even envisioned yet. It changed little and we took necessary steps to recuperate at least some of the debt they accrued due to us suffering a major psychological trauma by witnessing Bretonian engineers butcher our technology.
I know you are not officially at war with Bretonia yet it is also an open secret that skirmishes continue in Tau sector over the scraps left-over from Hebrides and the latest war with Kusari. Osiris, or its derivative still possesses superior signature and frame to wage war in dense asteroid fields despite its classification as a battleship. Therefore if you encounter it, feel free to atomize it with extreme prejudice.

Grand Admiral Golanski,
Quite a shame to hear that. Your technologies attract my attention as the most well-known stealth-focused among the Sirius factions we know about. Would be quite intriguing to get a piece of the Hellhound... or Amenhotep, that was spotted at borders of Gallia and belong to the same Osiris-class. Yet another one, as you said. Is this the Corsairs replica as well or you have something about this ship? The Captain of it was not really intelligent, so I believe he belongs to the folk of Crete.
