Please give us any polite suggestions, impressions, and compliments you have about this new concept of Gallia. Completed roleplay and other relevant information is also up for this. Please don't be aggressive or post anything with the intent to troll or otherwise instigate drama.
Be aware that this is the feedback page for the Gallic Government, not for any Gallic faction, lawful or otherwise. So, if you've come here to complain about their RP and/or behavior, take it to their respective feedback threads.
New Gallic emblem, based on Napoleonic Imperial Eagle, has been applied.
General wording and grammar overhaul.
Article 1.2 defines what territory Gallic Government consider theirs inRP. This has no effect on server rules as ooRP rules.
Article 2.1 defines what Gallic Law Enforcers may do to enforce laws within respectable area listed in the server rules.
Article 3.1 has Magnets removed from list of restriction and all Artifact-like commodities merged in one entity.
Article 3.3 no more mentions Mining License that has been completely revoked.
Article 4.1 has sanctions for violation added.
Article 4.2 lists only "Taureau" Armored Transport and "Lucullus" Liner as restricted. Rest are free to use.
Article 4.3 includes Tavros and Courier Freighters as Blackmarket ships.
Article 4.4 no more lists NG ships and copypaste Gallic Gunboat. Let's just pretend this copypaste thing has never happened.
Article 4.5 includes Cloaking Devices as restricted (banned before).
Article 4.6 replaced with Nomad-related Equipment.
Article 4.7 rewritten - Corsair military ships (snubs, gunboats) no more allowed in Gallia.
Article 5.1 - daily fine for lack of registration removed.
Titre 6 defines enemies of the Gallic Law Enforcers and unwilling (not necessary unfriendly) entities within Gallic territories.
Article 6.1 defines enemies of Gallia that may be engaged on sign. Yet, its recommended to have enough of RP before engagement: for example, Maquisard may be attempted to be convinced that their ways are wrong and there is no reason to keep fighting.
Article 6.2 defines unwilling entities. They may be escorted out of the Gallic territories or engaged if failed to comply. Gallic Law Enforcers can't use Gallic Mission Board as justification for attack. Entities listed under this article may do RP with the Gallic Government (exactly Government, not MNG or GSB) to restore their access to Gallic territories in full or as commercial entry.
I like that you can use 2.1 point two to fine for 4.7 6.1 and 6.2 for up to 5 mill
Not sure normal mortals will realize that though and might think you can just evict/shoot but not fine
Overall good laws, you can play brutal bullying oppressive military if you use 2.1 well and the paragraph also lends itself for corrupt RP etc.
It also says These National Forces are considered to be Gallic Law Enforcers:
• Gallic Navy
• Gallic National Intelligence
And then add
Article 2.1: Law Enforcers' Rights and Responsibilities
=> Might stipulate Corse cannot use their ID lines. Obviously Corse players will ignore what you wrote there and no admin will ever ok a sanction against Corse enforcing laws in Gallic house space, but still it kind of is a conflict that seems unnecessary to put into laws as on "paper" Corse could be sanctioned as they have ID line that says they can apply laws but then the laws themselves say they cannot.
They never will be actually sanctioned by admins obviously, but it might add confusion.
does this mean you levy a 10,000,000 fine and then he still can't leave?
There are two ways:
a) you levy fine and make person dock Gallic Navy station and then submit license application - this way is narrative-friendly as it shows arrest
b) you levy fine and escort the ship out of Gallic space so the person could keep flying - this way is ooRP-friendly as you let the person keep flying but inform they have to get a license in order to use this ship/equipment within Gallic territories without trouble

Yeah but they CAN enforce laws.
Probably should add a paragraph for fines of someone impersonating an officer like Liberty has and remove the lines that deny Corse technically.
You know what I think about the 250,000,000 to 750,000,000 fine for one reveal. Basically trying to negate the entire ID line of Corse doesn't seem right to me - you shouldn't have the power. This feels like clear ignorance towards Corse
I.E. this is the Liberty law
Up to 10 mill fine on the spot, never seen RP consequences really yet, nothing to the completely ridiculous tune that I've talked to admins about at least.
There's only one solution.
1) Remove the lines that imply only the listed officers can apply lawsin the laws, 1.3 can stay.
2) Add impersonating an officer law with specified fines.

Current government most likely does not want them as lawful authorities. Their ID allows them to do so, but they are 'not allowed' to do such things as long as authorities can find it out.
Laws are more RP things than IDs - they can be changed quickly depending on the story and RP.
