:::RECIPIENT: The President, Universal Shipping Incorporated [*USI*]
:::SUBJECT: Business inquiry
Guten Tag, President of Universal Shipping Incorporated.
This afternoon I sent a message to one of your pilots over a secure channel. During this conversation I asked whether there would be any interest in doing business together.
This was answered in the affirmative, but I should get in touch with a manager in your company.
For this reason I am getting in touch with you to have another business partner.
Below I have listed all the information you need.
You are welcome to apply for a docking authorization, but if you send us your official ship designation, you do not need to do this.
A note on food supplies:
You are also welcome to offer us local food from your home system, the crew, and myself included would be very happy about the variety, we would of course offer you the same remuneration as with the other foods. And now the price for the aluminum ore:
May I firstly take a moment to apologise for the huge delay in getting a response to you regarding your supply request. We've recently had a shift around of staff to and from various positions, which we've now settled and are back in action - as it were.
Secondly, thank you for reaching out to Universal. We are pleased to see that our reputation still proceeds us as being one of, if not the best there is in Sirius where meeting clients requests are concerned.
I have read through your previous transmission and drawn up a draft contract with all the relevant points. If you could review and if required, we can adjust and move forward from there.
I have made a few price modifications, so please note these and let me know if these are agreeable.

Guten tag Charles Kemp-Smith,
Let me introduce myself. My name is Tom Heinz, I'm the Head of the Commercial Department at Miningfactory Neuss. I'm here on behalf of our director, Helmut Schmid. We recently signed a contract with your organization for the supply of the necessary materials for our base. The basis for the conclusion of the contract was the reputation of Universal Shipping Incorporated, which indicates that you ensure the satisfaction of customer requests at the proper level.
However, in recent days we have been experiencing delays in the supply of such vital goods. As a result, we ran out of synth paste. Thank God, the head of the canteen hid several sacks of rice from the last delivery, for which, of course, he was reprimanded, but also thanks on behalf of the entire brigade of base workers for saving them from starvation. But we won't have enough rice for long. Water, oxygen and repair materials are also running out. The situation is becoming extremely dangerous.
Please accept my apologies on behalf of Universal for this delay. Let me assure you that our Department of Logistics has been cordially notified and emergency transports are en route.
Kind regards,
Charles Kemp-Smith
Vice President

Dear Herr Kemp-Smith,
Our base management was impressed by the speed of your company's decision making! Routine work at the base did not allow me to immediately thank you for such a hasty resolution of our supply issue. Well done!
All our workers are in high spirits awaiting new deliveries. Some even managed to make friends with the pilots of your ships and are waiting for an early meeting with them. I would also like to have a few beers with you at the nearest bar on the planet Holstein. I know the bartender there well, he makes a great kind of beer that rivals the New Berlin metropolitan beer!
I wish you a good day and new achievements in your work!
With kind regards, Tom Heinz The Head of the Commercial Department at Miningfactory Neuss
