(People have stopped logging to avoid players who are win at all costs, only chase bounty boards, or don't have any RP at all. I have a cheat sheet that is always being updated of such players)
People logging off so they don‘t need to interact with you.
(See above. When certain characters like LNS-Deep.Depression shoots at other Navy ships in New York, it's hard to find a reason to interact with people like that)
Factions teaching new players in a Bad way - Telling traders to always log off when they see a hostile
(There might be some that do. Ones I'm in keeps tabs of good/bad pirates. Which ones are the gib moneyz and which ones have good RP. We have gone out of our way to interact with some pirates because they make it fun)
Smuggling not worth it
(Valid point, but is still fun for RP even if it doesn't pay as well anymore)
This are the main reasons why I rarely log into the game anymore
Added some comments. We haven't interacted a whole lot (that I know of), but you may find that you are shooting yourself in the foot.
I hope that either all of us or none of us are judged by the actions of our weakest moments. But rather, by the strength we show when, and if, we're ever given a second chance.
