Order Cruiser

It started out as just an engine model for practice, now I think it's one of my best models yet... I based it on a 'mix' between the Osiris and Liberty Cruiser. Lemme know what ya think:

Depends, what I did is very similar to what it looks like the original freelancer modelers did with the osiris - they didnt use textures entirely, a lot of it was in the model:



You can clearly see the same latticed detail on the engine of the osiris in-game. They didnt go quite as heavy on it, and the panelling in the center section looks a little different, but they're similar...

Thinking about some kind of cruiser for the order right now... though I dont know exactly how I want it to look. The catamaran design doesnt seem to be very popular here, so it'll probably still be single-hull like the osiris, just on a smaller scale.

yea, I'm keeping it monohull.

Right now the idea is to keep the osiris-shaped front, but cut it in half (crosswise) and put something similar to the liberty cruiser forward gun setup on it, with a big cannon at the center of the ship.
