Dear miners, traders, suppliers and defenders of Goldgeist:
thank you for all the hard work, determination and companionship. And a big thanks to Paddy for her administrating the base for the last months with so much dedication. Thanks also to //Sava, who helped restocking the base prior and during the siege.
Maybe in the near (?) future we will attempt to rebuild from the skeletal remains of the base to it's former glory, but today we will have to relocate the survivors of the crew and miners onboard.
It saddens me to hear the news about the end of the Goldgeist Depot. My condolences.
Goldgeist has served me for a long time through my trader history, and thanks to it i forged my progress and success through time. And I owe it so much.
I burned my biggest favour by calling an Outcast destroyer to aid in its defense, but sadly the odds were aganist it and it was quickly outmatched. I dont think i will be able to get another opportunity like that.
Still, im glad the enclave didnt get to destroy it and instead you robbed them of their objective.
For now, i will keep gathering funds and spread the word of what happened, the enclave will not be forgiven easily.
I toally agree that the Enclave shouldn't be forgiven for this. Fortunately I have the funds to make their lives a bit more difficult. I hereby, according to the law, put a bounty on all Enclave and Corsair ships involved in the siege that I can remember before they caught me in my civilian ship "Crocodile Hunter" in their crossfire, claimable by all military, police and civilian lawful pilots.
25 mio credits (might be repeated up to 3 times for each ship) for the documented and proven (and not staged) destruction of the following battleships should they show up in Bretonian space or bordering systems or for their destruction during some sort of punitive expedition in Enclave space:
we are currently planning to rebuild the Goldgeist station in Dublin to its former glory. To circumvent costly and time-consuming reconstruction work, especially in a time where pilots are heading to the borderworlds to fight for money and glory, we want to buy an unused station of at least Core-Level 2 to rename it and to tow it to the same spot as Goldgeist once was.
If you are the owner of a fitting base who wants to part with it for a reasonable price or if you know someone who knows someone, don't hesitate to give us some notice.
We may be able to supply a Core 2 base. Currently, it is surplus to requirements and It is at 50% health, but fully functional. DSE| is able to dismantle, transport, and reassemble on site.
Purchase is $500,000SC for the base in situ, and costs to dismantle, transport and reassemble on site another 1,200,000 SC. Internal refurbishment to your preferred decore would add another 300,000SC to the price. A total of 2 Billion SC.
I am glad to hear that you have a station available. The price of 2 Billion SC sounds good, too. The 50% health indicate that the station is positioned in some hazardous area right now, if I am not mistaken? That would be no problem for us. We had dealings with ALG Waste Disposal in the past and still have connections, so even radioactive cleanse should be possible. Together with our specialists we should get the station up in no time!
Attached is a picture of our waste-handling crew, they even specialize in cleaning radioactive residues out of drainages and sewage tanks, which is often forgotten during these kinds of operations.
Our lawyers will take care of the transferral of the money, we will have them contact your department.
You are indeed correct that the base concerned is in a rather inhospitable zone. Deep Space Engineers are known for their ability to do the best job in the harshest places. Your men look like they are experienced to do the job to decontaminate the base.
If you could be so kind as to send the coordinates so we can arrange a site visit it would be much appreciated. If I recall it was South East of the Dublin gold mine, but accurate positioning requires astute placement. It is best to send it to my Private Mail as it is encrypted for commercially sensitive projects.
We can not, of course, commence without confirming all legal documents from the correct authorities are in place. Once coordinates, planning permission, and a 10% deposit is paid, we can begin the process of moving it to your site.
we have a little problem at hand. A transport pilot with the callsign [ALG]-TGX Eisenstadt didn't pay his cargo full of gold ore that some of our miners provided. He currently owes us 10 million Cr. We happily provide that same sum of 10 million Cr for every pilot who can convince him of the error of his ways.
We have received the 10% deposit, of 150,000,000SC. The remainder to be paid in full once Goldgeist is located in situ,
We also acknowledge your request for us to handle any discussions for Bretonia's government as to exact location, bearing in mind it is to be according to the original coordinates as much as possible. Once a firm agreement is set, we will begin the work
We have received the 10% deposit, of 150,000,000SC. This was seven months ago. The remainder was to be paid in full once Goldgeist is located in situ, This has not been paid. We have sought to resolve this but to no avail. Consequently, Deep Space Engineers are commandeering Goldgeist in lieu of non-payment.
Effective immediately all access to Goldgeist is now revoked, and all passwords changed. Staff are offered redundancy or the opportunity to continue under DSE| leadership.
