I am Seigneur de Lusignan, one of the Gallic Seigneurs. Before, you were working for the Gallic Union and were nothing but a mercenary as recruited by the Security Bureau, but I offering you working personally for me. Your skills were well enough to be noted by me personally and tasks will be similar: assassination and sabotage of foreign entities, however payment is bigger and targets are more dangerous than just Bretonian miners and shipping haulers. If you are interested - respond to this message using secured protocol attached to it.

One of the Unions very own Seigneur's reaching out to me personally, I'm glad I left an impression. As far as I'm concerned it doesn't matter whether it is the Bureau or you footing the bill. All that matters is that the payments don't stop and that they aren't late. With that out of the way I am interested.
Oh and just for the record, last time I checked quite a few terrorists went down on the wrong side of my guns.
Let's not hesitate then: your premium-grade target is Admiral Arthur Spencer form the Armed Forces of Bretonian Kingdom. While executing this contract, you should leave a trace leading to Kusari however remain discreet yourself, or in other words Bretonians must suspect Kusarians in attempt (successful or not is fully on yours) on their Admiral's life. Should you succeed and raise a political scandal between these two houses, your reward will be 200 million francs - you are free to hire anyone to assist you but try leaving as lesser traces as possible.

De Lusignan, I don't know what exactly you may have been told by the Bureau about me or even about assassinations in general but allow me to clear some important matters up. Let's start with the fact I am a combat pilot, not a special forces operator. Naturally that means my window of opportunity would be limited to when the target is in space, that in turn requires the target to be present on a ship or a station. Now in my experience admirals are usually present on warships and military bases, which brings us into my next two points.
Before I can even get into the specifics of how one might even have a remote chance of pulling off the killing of the target in question via the window of opportunity presented to someone like me, we need to address the matter of Intelligence. Usually the operatives in question will have been given a briefing or dossier on the target beforehand, this is the kind of thing that allows to get some sort of understanding of what actions the target might take in certain situations and more importantly an actual location or opportunity to strike at the target, after all one can hardly kill those they don't know the location of.
And for my final point shall we begin with the fact warships and military bases aren't the kind of target for solo operatives? Or should we address the point of the level of detail that would needed to make it look like Kusari actually ordered the kill?
I'll start with the latter. One you would need Kusari manufactured ships and weapons for the strike on the warship or station in question, not to mention the ships or equipment can't turn up as stolen or lost in action when the killing is investigated after the fact, this will be especially problematic as the odds of an entire squadron taking out a warship and it's escorts, or a station and it's defenses are quite low statistically, this is without factoring in that the squadron in question will have to be able to breach Bretonian space undetected and remain so until the very last moment before launching the attack.
And for the other? You'd need four pilots for such a mission at the very least, preferably five to reduce the amount of time they'd need to spend on target which would further increase the risk of the objective being compromised. Naturally of course one would have to find these pilots and as I'm sure the Union is aware professional mercenaries tend to be quite expensive and you would need professionals who are able to disappear into thin air after the job is done while tying up any loose ends, because if captured by the relevant authorities the likelihood of them confessing to the innocence of Kusari is pretty high.
Need I further illustrate what exactly it is you are asking and how low the odds of it actually being pulled off successfully are?
But if serious, you both impressed me and gave a good chuckle -- you are certainly not a trash mercenary that will do anything for the bill with many zeros. Good, for me this means you have a brain in your pretty head and actually suitable for work I want offer to you. howeve, I think you will need a suitable equipment for this. Something better than this Sirian trash even if serves you well. I will see if I can you something reliable and suitable for this particular one if you agree for the contract.
So, straight to the business: There is no stable connection with one of our research bases outside the Gallic space because of constant sand storms, induced by the increased activity of the star. You will be delegated to install a radio-broadcasting complex at this uninhabited planet, we deployed base at - it is a powerful unit which shall stabilize the radio connection with the orbital transmitter. The system is not officially charted and located in area with possible presence of lifeforms hostile to humanity.
Do you accept this contract or you would like to perform deep analysis for it as well?
Sender: Evelyn Taylor Recipient: Seigneur de Lusignan Subject: Delivery run
I'm assuming Installation of this module is simple enough since you are delegating this to me. So all I'm really going to need to know about this job is the where of this not officially charted system and which planet exactly it is that houses this research base, then I can get to work.
Oh and before I forget, I'm guessing that when you say lifeforms hostile to humanity you aren't referring to the maskers?
Sender: Evelyn Taylor Recipient: Seigneur de Lusignan Subject: It's done
Lusignan, I'm assuming by now that the Bureau has briefed you on what awaited us upon arrival. So I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that this situation was outside of my area of expertise. And that while Monsieur Blanc's injuries were regrettable, they were also unavoidable as attempting to do so would have resulted in us having to abort our attempt to recover what data we could.
I did what I could for him at the time, but I'd recommend ensuring that the Bureau sees that Blanc receives the proper medical care. While he is a demanding passenger, the man is also a competent professional, however. I doubt I need to say much more on that matter.
For the final matter and most important matter, you no doubt have access to my records with the Union. I'll be expecting my payment in the usual account. And do let me know if you've made any headway on that equipment matter while I was gone.

Madame Taylor,
Although I have not had time to read Monsieur Blanc's reports in detail about what has happened on this planet, he, like me, is impressed by your work, in particular by your ability to adapt to the changing situation. This deserves praise, and at the very least, encouragement. Once again, I will offer you a place in our armed forces, at the rank of Lieutenant.
However, I have no doubt that you will refuse, so I will transfer to your account a cash reward for the task you have completed, as well as an additional reward that awaits you in the hangar D8 of Nimes Station. I hope you'll be able to cope with this member of the feline family, who's whose systems my people have previously adapted to Sirius' fuel, as well as translating the computer interface into the English you're accustomed to. Although, I still think you will have to do some adjustments for yourself.
However, if you do decide to accept the offer to join our armed forces - simply approach the Adjutant or Station Governor, directly. An authorisation code from me personally will give you that right, and will increase your importance in the eyes of those pompous turkeys.
