Captain Summers,
Command has closely reviewed your AAR on the aforementioned date. We are pleased that you are enjoying the Gibraltar and what she has to offer in terms of capabilities. Having detailed and gone through your report, taking in to consideration your service record and long standing reputation within the Fleet, we have deemed it appropriate to stand down and decommission your current Archer Class, the Lady of Leeds.
Please arrange to command her and her crew to Juneau in Alaska for final debrief. You will remain on station until such time as arrangements and transfer of assets can be undertaken. I suspect this shouldn't take long, so perhaps a good time to take some leave, unless in emergency and called to return to a proxy command onboard another vessel.
We will keep you posted of the developments and advise using this time to say your farewells, to include your crew too. The Lady of Leeds is possibly the longest standing and deployed Archer Class within the Fleet. So I'm sure we can develop a retrofit and upgrades and get her back up to capability soon.
That is all.

Subject: Check In
Commodore,
We have received a communication from a Commander Morgan, currently serving aboard the Navy Carrier, LNS Ohio. She has reported that the Delaware has been lost, to include all the souls serving on her during the last assault within Vespucci. This is disappointing, if not tragic news. Though, their loss must not be made in vein.
I request a full status of all ships assigned to your assault task force and hereby re-designating, aptly, to Task Force Barbara Jacobi. I want a full composition of all vessels that currently of a state to effectively re-deploy, even if it's general classifications of vessels. Once you have relayed this information back to Headquarters, I want you to muster all capable vessels, rendezvous with the Ohio. A recent response to the Commander's communication from the Fifth Fleet, from Rear Admiral Hopkins, have pledged Task Force Akhetaten and her Task Force to this, so we will be in full support also.
I expect a response at your soonest convenience and please response in the affirmative that you've read and understood these orders and have re-deployed. We still have a full operational ready reserve Fleet back in LIBCENTCOM, should extra resources and firepower be required. If you need these deployed, relay the request and I'll send what I can.
That is all, Commodore. Godspeed.

Mr. Van Leer,
It has come to the attention of the High Command that while serving as the commanding officer of the LNS-Barbara.Jacobi, you committed multiple breaches of the Code of Conduct.
Upon learning this, The High Command undertook an investigation and found you guilty of the following:
i) willful damage to the fleet’s reputation or status.
iv) conduct that endangers the fleet or its operatives.
v) behavior which seriously detracts from the day-to-day workings of the fleet.
Effective immediately, your previous orders from Fleet Admiral Martin Kemp-Smith are rescinded. Furthermore, you are hereby stripped of rank and dishonorably discharged from service.
You may of course appeal the decision of the High Command, as is your right.
It goes without saying that the High Command is aghast at this behavior. That being said, I have nothing further to add.

Can't say I have the slightest clue as to what you are talking about Admiral! You have been all but absent from the Fleet in the previous months. Barbara Jacobi and her crew were exemplary in their fight of the Insurgents, and that is all we have done during your absence. Not a single concern was ever brought up or discussed with yours truly.
We have lost the Delaware Battlegroup and Commanding officers were responsible and I was one of them - we live and learn, and we will continue to fight on until the Insurgency is defeated - whether part of the 46th or Secondary Fleet.
For Duty, Honor and Liberty.

Subject: Vespucci Assault
High Command,
The North Dakota made its way back to Norfolk and is currently awaiting it's consultation with our engineers.
Following the discharge of Commodore Leer, the Jacobi taskforce is left without a leader. Which is why, I have taken command of the Retribution and any combat-capable vessels with it to rendezvous with Carrier Ohio along with the former Commodore's taskforce.
Any medically fit personnel from the Dakota is to be transferred accordingly to operate the Retribution under me.
The Retribution and her escorts currently consists of
6x BDR-804 "Guardian" Liberty Very Heavy Fighter
3x Li-117 Liberty "Upholder" Bomber
2x Liberty 'Archer' Siege Cruiser
1x Liberty 'Interdictor' Assault Battlecruiser
1x Liberty 'Overlord' Dreadnought
Coincidentally, we departed the same hour as the Bridgetop Battlegroup.
As we entered the Vespucci system, we unexpectedly got into an ongoing battle between a group of Carrier Ohio's forces and the Insurgents. The battle was tough, the Insurgents had deployed wings of fighters and bombers accompanied by multiple warships in an attempt to neutralize our presence in the area. Our forces joined the battle and fended off the hostiles, taking down several of their warships with minimal losses.
Post-battle, we moved up to link with Commander Morgan's forces and the remnants of the Jacobi taskforce. Reinforcing our numbers.
The Retribution and Jacobi joint TF now consists of
10x BDR-804 "Guardian" Liberty Very Heavy Fighter
7x Li-117 Liberty "Upholder" Bomber
3x Liberty 'Archer' Siege Cruiser
2x Liberty 'Interdictor' Assault Battlecruiser
1x Liberty 'Overlord' Dreadnought
It's only a matter of time till the final advance begins. Let's not make the same mistake.
Gunnarsson out.

Commander Gunnarsson,
In light of your communication, I must admit, I am pleased to see such initiative. So, a job very well done on taking command.
Furthermore, with the recent discharge of Blake Van Leer from the Fleet, the Barbara Jacobi is stood down in name. Her former assets are now assigned to you, under the new, impromptu name, of the Retribution Task Force. You are hereby to officially take command of the Retribution by order of Command. All Officers will report to you, and you directly to Command for the remainder of this Campaign.
If you and the Task Force require further assistance, you need only ask, Commander. All eyes are on you and I expect you will perform admirably.
That is all, Commander. Godspeed.

Fleet Admiral,
Now that the former Jacobi Task Force has been successfully reunited and merged under the wings of the Retribution Task Force, our next goal is to provide any possible support to Commander Morgan and the Ohio Battlegroup. I have deployed two grizzly shuttles accompanied by an escort to transport personnel that require intensive medical care back to safe space and away from the battlefield.
With regards to the battle situation, our forces have formed a defensive perimeter surrounding Carrier Ohio's grid. To keep the number of Insurgents hitting the main group minimal, we will remain this way until further orders are given.
It's an honour to be appointed this position with weight, Admiral. I will do my absolute to not disappoint.
Should we require any form of assistance, you will be notified.
Godspeed, Fleet Admiral.

Good Day Fleet Admiral,
I apologize for my tardiness on my first day however when we got our acceptance letter I was patrolling within the Texas System. After jumping into New York via the Gate, I was disrupted by a Lane Hacker, LH~Franz.Oberhauser, a Bomber class craft whos intention was to "test their weapons" on the Vermont. As expected they could not even scratch our shield, he left seemingly disappointed and we arrived here at Salt Lake Station. I realize he wanted to test the capabilities of the Vermont but I could think of different less potentially lethal ways to do such tests, this Lane Hacker has some courage to him I can admit.

Subject: Letter of resignation and transfer request
Dear officers, comrades of the Liberty forty-sixth Fleet,
For those who do not know me, I am Ensign Wiliam Hawkins, and was in active service for approximately a year in the Fleet. I was, however, given the opportunity to not only continue serving my country, but also engage in more in hands-on defense of our great House. Please do not take this as a letter of resignation in with hostile intent, neither a degradation of the forty-sixth Fleet, but rather as an opportunity for development and growth that presented myself - virtues that our society values oh so much.
As such, officers, please accept my request to be transferred to the First Armada. Thank you very much for you time.
It was a pleasure to serve under the forty-sixth Fleet's banner specifically, but I - we, need to think of Liberty as a single entity that we swore to protect, so my resignation is not a catastrophe, neither for me, nor for the forty-sixth Fleet - as we would operate hand-in-hand regularly, if my request to be transferred to the First Armada be accepted by the High Command.

Subject: Reporting In
Captain Shepard,
Firstly, from me, welcome to the Liberty Navy, Forty-sixth Fleet. I must admit, I was quite surprised to see you application get put on my desk. Needless to say, it raised quite a number of eyebrows, given that you are the first applicant to the Fleet not fresh out of West Point.
As for your reasons for reporting in late, I'm pleased that you report no vital damage to the Vermont, her crew or yourself. Must have hurt the ego of that Lane Hacker, credit to him for the stones to attack a Overlord Class by himself, though.
On to brass tacks, your assignment within the Fleet will be unique, mainly due to the aforementioned reason. So, I would like to firstly point out what I expect of you, as an Officer holding such a rank. Given that you've transferred in from the Secondary Fleet and taking up a senior position here, I expect your conduct at all times to be conducive of that fact. You immediately find yourself in a position of authority and the junior officers, at times, will look to you for guidance and more importantly, leadership. I do not, at any time, want you to put yourself in a position where you detract, or otherwise take from the junior officers. Respect will be earned and some may take a while to warm up to you, though, naturally, you will be afforded the proper courtesies and etiquette beholden to your rank.
You will be assigned proper accommodation and all manner of things there unto pertaining within Salt Lake Station, our Headquarters. This will include the Officers Mess, etc. Familiarize yourself with the Station as she will become your new home, so make yourself at home.
As for assignment, as a Captain I'd like to give you some sort of freedom to exercise your own patrols. This can include junior officers as escorts, if required. I'm a firm believe that the faster they get to know you and the crew, the easier it will make your transition here. Assignments can and may well change, so if you are required to redeploy, then standby and you'll be notified accordingly.
Welcome, once again, to the Fleet, Captain. Myself, along with the rest of Command are going to be watching you keenly. So do your very best.
That is all, Captain. Godspeed.
