Fairly rough model but I cleaned it up as best I could. The idea in mind was to make something that looked intimidating and extravagant - to create a ship that would be used by the personal guard of the Queen of Bretonia.

I like it, but what are those "claw"-ish things on the tips of the two upper engine parts?

it's actually the 'earwig' shaped tail part from the crusader, scaled down and flipped around backwards to look like spikish things coming off the front of the engine sections.

Like I said, it's meant to look scary, intimdating, and extravagant.

The clawish things are my only turnoff to it...Looks Like a great ship for the Queen's Fleet.

the claws are cool, stops people from tailgating.

I think he's talking about the forward-facing claws I put on there.

Really... without them, the extra engines look a bit plain... it's up to the Brets though, I dont really play a bretonian =P

My thought is to remove the claws, but add a bit of an armour plate to where the engines meet the wing things...Something like this:

Just not the earwig things..like, uhm..shoulder pads, of a sort.

I took off the 'claws' and extended the struts backward a little bit... honestly I think it looks worse though =P

Ooo, I like the clawless version. Fancy, elegant, Betonian.

Heavy fighter? Lightweight VHF? How big is it, compared to the other Bretonian fighters?

it's based on the cavalier chassis, here's some size comparisons to the cavalier and crusader:

Has a slightly (very slight) larger profile on all sides than the cavalier, but not quite as large as the crusader. It's a hair longer than the crusader on the top/side profiles.
